Chapter 23

Eileen's POV

One month later

"Wait so, what you're saying is that Micah caused Professor Wilkin to quit teaching?" I ask Amy and she nods her head yes. "And how sure are you?"

"Owen told me, he said he threatened him or some shit like that." Amy explains and I just shake my head.

"So, how are things going on with you and lover boy." Amy asks Kayla who rolls her eyes.

"Trevor isn't a lover boy, he's a fuck boy."

"I thought you two were into each other?" I ask her while sipping some of my milkshake.

"I don't know, he keeps saying once I stop talking to Phil, he'll stop fucking other girls." She mumbles.

"Well, you can't expect him to keep chasing you when you're with Phil all the time and he's a man, he's going to keep sleeping with girls since he's a single man at that." Amy explains.

"He's just a fuck boy just like Owen." Kayla says making Amy look at her.

"What the fuck did you just say?" Amy snaps.

"Owen is a fuck boy too, he used to flirt with everything that's female."

"Kayla, you better watch your fucking mouth, you don't see me talking about Trevor or Phil." Amy snaps.

"But it's the truth, once a fuck boy always a fuck boy and just because you're now dating, that doesn't mean that he won't cheat, that's how they all are." Kayla says angrily making me shake my head.

"What is wrong with you?" Amy looks at Kayla with disgust.

"What is wrong is that you're being blinded by Owen's lies, that man has slept with almost all the girls on this campus and for you...." She turns to look at me. "If Micah wasn't in a relationship with you, he'd be a fuck boy too but I guess he is already one since he cheated on you already and you took him back like nothing happened."

"Shut the fuck up Kayla." Amy snaps.

"What the hell did you just say to me ?" I ask her while standing up .

"Just chill babe, let's just go." Amy says as she stands up too and pays for our lunch.

"Why is she so bitter this afternoon? I've never seen her like that." I speak to Amy as we head to her car.

"She's just angry at the fact that Trevor isn't giving her the attention he used to. She wants him to keep chasing her yet she still goes out with Phil." She explains and I can't stop myself from overthinking about what she said about Micah.

"Do you think she meant what she said about Micah?"

"Hell no, I know that man is in love with you, you see how he avoids making conversations with girls?"

"Yeah."

"That means that he is never a fuck boy and he will never be, you both got together in high school and you're the girl he has been with for the longest, he just dated Martha for a few months and that was it so don't even think about what she said. As for Owen, I know he was a fuckboy but I'll never doubt his loyalty towards me." She explains as she drives off.

"I understand." 

"So, that aside, how's it been between you and Micah?"

"Well, we're still taking it slow, we're working on getting back together." Micah and I are taking everything on a slow pace and it's been a month and afew weeks now.

"That's good, I'm surprised he hasn't pushed that ring down your throat yet."

"He has suggested on several occasions that I put it on but we're not even dating..."
