[23] time out

"Oh hi, Hyunjin." Changbin opened the door wider for his friend to come in. "How are you?"

"Sooo much has happened and it all went so fast, I didn't even have time to update you."

Raising a brow, Changbin wasn't sure if he should be concerned. They sat down on the couch and Hyunjin immediately started talking.

"Felix found out that Minho cheated on him and then he broke up with him. Now he has a boyfriend, but I'm not sure if they're actually dating, but that's not important anyway." He was so excited to talk about this, that he was talking without a break. "Anyway, I told Minho everything, I mean that I've been in love with him for years and now we're practically boyfriends, but not really yet and we'll move in together soon."

Changbin's jaw dropped when Hyunjin finished his story, speechless. He needed a moment to understand all of this first and when he did, he couldn't believe it.

"All of that happened in the past few days?"

"Yup."

Well, that explained why Hyunjin was so happy. "Did I really understand that correctly? You'll move into the house, where Minho and Felix lived? With Minho? Because he has romantic feelings for you?"

It all seemed so weird, if Changbin summarized it like that. Hyunjin himself couldn't really believe it yet, but he just went on with his life because he finally had what he had wanted for so long. And he didn't want to waste this perfect time, worrying about future problems that he might have.

"And you just trust him like that? He could cheat on you too."

"I know, but sometimes you have to trust someone. Also, we promised each other not to have any secrets and so far it's going really well."

Just seeing Hyunjin this happy after having to comfort him over the past few weeks and even years, he didn't want to ruin his mood. "Just be careful." He warned him, but when Hyunjin nodded, still looking excited, he added, "I'm so happy for you."

"How did Felix even find out?" Curiously, Changbin tilted his head to the side.

"Uhm." Embarrassed, Hyunjin quickly tried to come up with something to say, that wasn't the truth, but he couldn't think of anything. "I'd rather not talk about that."

"Oh God what did you do?"

"Hey, it wasn't my fault!" Hyunjin put his hands up, speaking the truth this time. It really hadn't been his fault and now that Minho had realized, he made sure to tell him. Minho still felt guilty, so he apologized every day, even though Hyunjin told him that it wasn't necessary.

Changbin just sighed and shook his head. Maybe it was better if he didn't know what had happened.

Hyunjin changed the topic. "What happened between you and that teacher by the way?"

"The way you're saying it sounds like I'm in a secret relationship with my teacher." He blushed, but ignored it. "He's really nice, we were on a few dates and he even stayed over once. When I woke up, he was cuddling with Jamie, it was so cute. It almost looked like Jamie was his son."

Every time he thought back to that moment, a dreamy expression rested on his face and he couldn't stop smiling, no matter how hard he tried.

Dramatically, Hyunjin gasped and put a hand on his chest. "You mean, he's stealing Jamie from me?"
