-what if-

"What's wrong?" Jisung asked, as soon as Felix entered his office, a few files in his hands, that Jisung would have to work on later.

"Nothing." He tried to hide his exhausted expression behind a smile, but it didn't work, Jisung knew him too well.

So when he placed Jisung's work on the desk, the brunette took Felix's smaller hands into his own quickly, getting up as well so that they were standing in front of each other, holding hands.

Instantly, Jisung's heart was beating faster and he couldn't help but assume that Minho was responsible for the sad look, that again lingered in Felix's eyes. Every day, Felix seemed to be upset about something and Jisung didn't just want to watch.

"I can listen, if you want to talk." He offered, caressing Felix's hands softly.

Sighing, Felix leaned back against the desk, automatically pulling Jisung with him, so that they were even closer. His eyes were wide, when Jisung stood directly in front of him, hands still holding his own.

Even though Jisung would have preferred to just look at Felix all day, he hastily took a step back, not wanting to make Felix uncomfortable.

"Okay, I need to talk to someone actually." It was obvious that he didn't want to talk about it, but he had to get it off of his chest. "I told you that Minho was being weird, right?"

Jisung nodded, his gaze darkening when he heard the name. Of course it had been Minho again. He had never really liked him because he was the one, who made it impossible for him to have a chance with Felix. But since he didn't know Felix's boyfriend, everything he did know, he knew from Felix talking about him, he always tried to push those thoughts to the side. He knew that he was just jealous.

Hearing how much pain Minho caused Felix lately, though, made his blood boil.

"He's working a lot more lately. He comes home when I'm in bed already. I miss him, even though we live together, how is that even possible?" Letting go of Jisung's hands, he crossed his arms and looked down. The topic made him emotional and even though that was understandable, he didn't want to show it. "He says he's doing it for the promotion." He mumbled.

Jisung of course still noticed that Felix tried to hide his feelings and he almost reached out to cup Felix's face. But he wouldn't do it, he didn't want to confuse Felix more and he didn't want to hurt himself any further as well. "Are you sure that's the reason?"

"What are you saying?" Felix raised a brow, already having a bad feeling about where this conversation was going.

Jisung sighed, taking a step back from Felix to be able to think more clearly. He needed to be careful with what he said. "I'm not implying anything, but are there any problems in your relationship? Did you notice anything other than Minho behaving like this?"

"Not really." Felix swallowed heavily, because he was lying. He knew that Minho wasn't talking to him about something important, something that he should better bring up. But then again, he was here as well, talking about the problems, but not to his partner.

"I don't believe you." Jisung could see the way Felix nervously bit his lip, like he did so often when he was stressed.

Felix wanted to tell him everything. Every little detail. But that would feel like he was betraying Minho, he couldn't talk like that behind his back. Still, he had to let it all out, so he opened his mouth and the words fell out quickly. "He doesn't talk to me anymore. We used to always talk if something was wrong, but he doesn't do it anymore. He acts as if everything is okay, but I've known him for long enough. I see that there's something on his mind." His voice broke, silencing him. Then he whispered, "Is it my fault? Am I doing something wrong?"
