-silent cry-

Just like every morning since his internship had started, Jeongin walked into the hospital. Normally he would be tired and he would want nothing more than to turn around and go back home, but today it was different.

Today he was nervous and kind of excited because he would start working in a new part of the hospital. During the internship, he had to work in the different parts of the hospital in order to get to know all of them and to make it easier for him to choose where he wanted to work later.

He was really relieved that he wouldn't have to work with children anymore because his last position was a pediatrician and that had been way too exhausting for the young student.

Now he would be able to work with surgeons, which meant less work for him because he couldn't just perform a surgery. Still, there would be a lot to learn, he only hoped that he would have enough time and energy to study for his exams, after work. Because despite being an intern, he unfortunately still had to write exams, when he just wanted to fall into his bed after coming home and sleep until the next morning.

On his way through the halls, he greeted nurses, who smiled at him brightly. Apparently a lot of them thought he was cute, at least another intern here had told him that, but he wasn't interested in them. Not because they weren't pretty or because he didn't want to get to know them. No, it was simply because he already had a crush.

He stopped in front of the door to the office of the surgeon, who would be responsible for him during the time here and who would show him everything. After knocking, he waited for the door to open and when it did, Jeongin smiled shyly, bowing to the man in front of him.

"Hello, come in. I'm Dr. Bang, but you don't have to call me that, it's too formal. Just call me Chan." Chan stepped to the side to let Jeongin into his office, telling him to sit down on the small couch, while he himself sat down at his desk.

"I'm Jeongin." He replied, even though he was pretty sure Chan knew that. No trace of his nervousness could be found in his voice, he had always been quite good at hiding it.

"I'm impressed, normally interns are always late." Chan took off his glasses and placed them down on the desk. Just from the way Chan looked really smart and responsible, it was clear that he was the boss of this department. Another hint to that were the many files in his office, he clearly had a lot of work. "The plan for today is that I'll just show you around a bit and tomorrow, I can show you the actual work here."

Despite his higher position, Chan was friendly, always had a polite smile on his lips and his voice was smooth. It was exactly how Jeongin had imagined it, ever since he had read the email, which had said that Chan would be responsible for him.

Jeongin had looked forward to the day, he would be in this department because he could work closer to Chan, maybe start talking to him and get to know him, but now he was actually much closer to him than he would have thought. This would be interesting.

"So, this is my office and for the time you'll be here, you'll work in here as well."

They would even share an office? Jeongin wasn't sure if he would be able to concentrate being so close to Chan the whole time. Just walking next to him now, on their way through a part of the hospital where Jeongin had never been, he couldn't keep his eyes off of Chan.

But could you blame him? Chan looked really hot in this white coat and his glasses. His shoulders appeared even wider than they probably were and everything about him screamed 'smart'. Jeongin couldn't help it, it made him imagine something that he shouldn't think of.
