This extra chapter takes place a few months after Chan told Jeongin that he needs time to figure out if he should give Jeongin a chance or not (in chapter 24).

**********

Jeongin loved days on which he didn't have to get up early, just like today. He had gotten up later than usually, he had taken his time to eat breakfast and then he had taken shower.

Now his hair was still wet, while he was getting dressed and he was humming along to his favorite song. He had to admit that he was quite happy today.

His internship had ended a while ago already and it was weird that his daily routine had changed again, after such a long time working at the hopsital. Even though some days had been very tiring, he had to admit that he kind of missed working there.

And he didn't only miss it because he had seen Chan every day, even though that was definitely one of the reasons.

It was weird not being able to see Chan every day anymore, when they had spent so much time together in his office. They still made sure to text each other every day and they tried to call each other as often as possible, but most days they just didn't have enough time.

Chan often worked until late in the evening, when Jeongin had to study and when Chan had time in the morning, Jeongin was already on his way to uni.

Of course Jeongin knew exactly that this had been Chan's fear. He had been hesitant to try this between them because their lives were so different. Chan already had his job, while Jeongin was still in uni.

But somehow they managed and Jeongin was happy the way it was. He was happy to hear Chan's voice over the phone, even though he couldn't see him every day and he was only more excited when he saw him.

He was currently getting ready, since today was Saturday, where they usually went on dates because both of them had time. Jeongin often studied longer on other days, only to have the time to see Chan on the weekend.

Despite all of their dates and the time they were spending together, Chan was still hesitant to call Jeongin his boyfriend, but Jeongin didn't mind, as long as he got to be with him often.

Suddenly the music playing on his phone stopped, when he received a call. He smiled, when he saw that Chan was the person calling him and he quickly picked up. "Hi."

"Innie, I missed your voice." Chan said, sounding happy and maybe even relieved to hear Jeongin.

This happened often. Chan called him, because he loved to hear him talk, even if he was just talking about random things that had happened to him during the day.

"Channie" He laughed. "You'll see me in like half an hour."

"uuhm, about that-" Chan started, making Jeongin frown.

He interrupted Chan with a disappointed voice. "Don't tell me something happened and I can't see you today."

He was already completely dressed and almost ready to leave. He had also been happy to see Chan this weekend because they hadn't been able to go on a date last weekend and they hadn't seen each other the whole week.

"No, that's not it." Chan chuckled, making Jeongin sigh in relief. "But I just couldn't wait any longer and I'm standing in front of your door right now."

Jeongin had been walking from his living room back to his bedroom, but now he stopped walking, standing right next to the door. "Wait, really?"

He didn't know if he could believe him, but he opened the door nonetheless and was immediately met with Chan's wide smile. He himself smiled as well and grabbed Chan's jacket to pull him inside and closer to himself.
