The doctor was not gentle. He wasn't careful with realigning your wings like the nurses before had been, and he didn't have any sympathy while he'd applied temporary splints to keep them aligned either.
When Shigaraki had come back, you had been in even more of a sour mood thanks to the painful realignment, which was only briefly soothed by the fact that he'd gotten more painkillers for you while he'd been off giving the laptop to someone called 'Skeptic'.

You have no idea what he'd given you, and honestly you probably should have been a bit more cautious about taking medicine from the most wanted villain in Japan, but whatever it was had your head floating, your body entirely relaxed and you barely even register your wings and the pain you should be in with them.
As he speaks to Ujiko, you barely make out the conversation they're having, your head bobbing and your eyes struggling to stay open. You can see their eyes on you, and the fact that they're clearly discussing you, but the words feel far away, like they're in another room.

You slur angry words and try to push Shigaraki away when he approaches you and lifts you up bridal style, but it does very little to get him away from you. He doesn't even grace you with a response, just orders Ujiko to pick up your bag and then he begins to carry you through the building as you try, and fail, to flail in his arms.

Your body is just so heavy, and your head is so floaty.

"What'dya give me?" You manage to ask.

"Nothing harmful." He replies. "Just go to sleep."

"Creep." You groan. "You're going to do somethin' weird."

His face twists slightly in disgust. "I am not."

You give up your fight in his arms, just allowing the heaviness of your body to take over and going completely limp, your eyes drooping open and shut repeatedly.
He seems to carry you to a car, putting you down relatively gently for a villain, taking care to move your wings so they're not cramped up behind you while also not actively doing damage to the attempt Ujiko had made to splint them.

"We're going to be in the car for a while. Is this comfortable?" He asks you, his red eyes hard and unforgiving as they search yours.

"Stop pretendin' you care." You grumble, your head lolling to one side.

He stares at you for a moment, and then shrugs and clips the seatbelt across you before shutting the door and getting behind the wheel himself, Ujiko sitting in the passenger seat.

"There's childlock on the door, so don't try anything stupid." Shigaraki tells you, looking at you in the rearview mirror and starting the car.

"Go away." You groan, finally caving in and closing your eyes properly.

Maybe you'd wake up for real and this nightmare would be over.

*•*

The nightmare was not over once you were awake.

In fact, it was very much still alive and perhaps even worse than it was prior to being drugged with whatever painkiller Shigaraki had given you.
You were pulled up in a hospital car lot with big, burly villains surrounding the building and you were in pain.

You're in so much pain that you don't even say anything when Shigaraki opens the car door for you to get out because he clearly wasn't taking any chances with you and had put a childlock on the door.

You don't argue it when he tells you to follow  him into the hospital.
You don't say a word when he walks from room to room of the hospital checking on his people and answering questions from nurses, villains and civilians alike, and being oddly respectful as he does.
