Chapter Twelve
"He's a psychopath, you know that right?"

"I'm hungry." Lily groans, "Let's go look for food." Sarah says standing up, they follow behind her, JB leaving the phone back where he found it, they walk down the stairs to see food everywhere on the main floor. "Score." Lily says speed walking over to the plates of food. They all start eating until JohnB drags Sarah away to dance.

"cute." the girl mumbles to herself as she watches the two laugh, enjoying each other's presence.

That night the three were asleep on the roof, Lily open her eyes seeing JohnB get up but didn't think much of it, so she fell back asleep. A couple minutes go by and Lily feels someone shoving her, "Lily get up." Sarah says, Lily opens her eyes in confusion. "JohnB left, and I know where he went." she adds looking at the house from a distance, Lily gets up and the girls run down the stairs. They were speed walking in silence till Sarah spoke up, "Genuinely asking, do you like my brother?" she asks. "Honestly I don't know, he kissed me and I didn't know how to feel."

"He's a psychopath, you know that right?" Sarah asks, "I know he killed the sheriff, and pointed a gun at my head. But I feel like there's more to him." Lily says. The girls walk a little further and out of nowhere, someone grabs them and covers their mouth with a towel. There screams were muffled, Lily tried to anything to get the person off of her but they had a strong grip.

They arrived at a house, that time the sun had risen. "It's the people from the boat, i'm sure the won't hurt us." Lily says whispering to sarah as she walks into the back, Sarah stayed silent, she was furious at JohnB and his stupidity. Moments later the girls heard voices and seen JB. "I found your boyfriend." Cleo says moving her knife around her fingers.

"Hey. Listen." JB says walking up to sarah, she gets up and walks up to him, "Liar!" she yells pushing the boy back. JB bumps into a boy that happened to be on the boat as well. The boy grabs JB and starts choking him but not tightly, "I wouldn't provoke him. It tends not to go so well. You can run, but you can't hide John B." The old man says shoving food into his mouth, the boy lets go off JBs neck and smiles.

"Turn him into the authorities." The old man says, "No, no I can pay." JohnB says backing up, "You got fifty K in your back pocket? If not, bye bye." the man replies, JB takes off his backpack slowly. Lily already knew what he had, she was only mad at him because he didn't care about Sarah's feelings. Lily gets up and grabs the bag from his hands and walks over to the man unzipping it.

She pulls out the gold and raises it to show them, "What is that?" the man asks, "What does it look like?" Lily says getting frustrated, she hands it to him. "One hundred and forty three thousand reasons to let us go." Sarah says looking at the three.

"I still want my bounty money." The man says, "No no, I can get you more." JohnB says looking at Sarah who's glaring at him, "How?" Cleo asks, "I know a house that has more gold, and I can pay you and we can leave, there's is hundreds of millions of dollars." JB says making them look at him confused, but Sarah and Lily already knew what house he was talking about.

Later that night they met up at the Cameron summer house, Lily hid in the back of the truck to not get caught while Sarah and JB get into the gates.

They all followed Sarah into the house since she was the only one who knew where the key was. "This house is huge." Lily mumbles, but wasn't surprised. Sarah opens the door and walks in, they follow behind her looking around.

They get to a safe, Sarah pushes the numbers trying to figure out the code. "Does you dad get notified?" Lily asks looking outside the window for the clear. "Good question, i don't know." she replies back trying to think. She enters a code again making it turn open. "My birthday." she mumbles. The door opens to gold, it looked to good to be true.

"I need shades." Cleo says smiling, "Go get the goddamn duffel bags stubbs!" Terrance yells at the boy. "Guys. Security is here!" the boy yells a couple feet away. Lily closes the door and locks it, they try to run out back but Terrance closes the door behind him. "What the fuck! Let us out." Lily says banging on the glass door. "You're the bait. That's gonna slow em down. See you later." he says before locking the door and run away.

"Open the door!" JB yells hitting the glass, "JohnB they're coming." Sarah says running behind the couch while they follow. From a distance Security looks around talking on the whereabouts. They make a plan and split up, going different directions. Lily runs out the main door and hids behind the water power, JB distracts the security, and Sarah getting the keys.

"Give me the keys." Terrance says holding a gun toward Sarah, Stubbs grabs the keys from her hands, "Let's go." the man says running off, "I'm sorry." Cleo says with regret before running off with the other two. Sarah and Lily hear JB yell, the blond haired girl goes behind the house and thinks of a plan. Sarah runs toward JB.

The security points guns at him, one of them get their phone out and starts recording. "Mr. Cameron we found a suspect trying to break into your house." he says, "Let me see his face." Ward says on the other end of the phone. "Hold his head up."

Lily finds another watee box and flips it open, she sets the sprinklers on, she looks around the corner to see if splash onto the security's phone. "Hell yeah." she smirks. The phone breaks up and gets wet. Lily hears a man come so she hides behind a shed. The man turns off the sprinkler then runs back out.

"What is going on?" Sarah says walking up to them holding a plant bottle, "Who are you?" they ask, she puts her hands up in surrender. "I'm Val, house sitting for the Cameron's." she says walking closer. "We caught this guy trying to break in." Sarah has a confused look on her face and looks at JB.

"Oh, I know him. He cleans boats for the neighbors." she improvises, "Which neighbors?" he asks. "The Stanley's, down the street."

"What's his name." The guy asks not buying in, "Vlad." she says before spraying the security in the face, Lily runs out and kicks the guy holding Jbs hair. They run off into the truck, Lily hops into the back with Sarah. "Go JohnB, he's right on our ass!" Lily yells, security grabs Sarah's legs but the blond girl kicks him in the face making him fall back.
