Chapter Thirty Three
"I just want Sarah."

"Just put that thing down, all right?" JB says holding his hand out, "Why would I do that? Huh? Your trying to take her?" Rafe says breathing heavy.

"I just want Sarah." JohnB replies, Lily looks up from the floor and to him. JB looks back at her with regret full in his eyes.

"I don't give a shit about Sarah, but you're not having Lily."

"This isn't about you Rafe, all right?" JohnB says taking more steps back, Lily knew that JohnB couldn't take Rafe and the only one who had a good beat on him was Pope.

"It's not about me?"

"No."

"This is about Sarah, okay?" JohnB says moving to the side and Rafe follows his path. "I don't know. I think it is."

JohnB runs and finds a dead end, Rafe hits him in the back of the head making him fall down.

"Rafe stop." Lily shouts, making him turn around to look at her with his nose scrunched up.

"He doesn't give a shit about you Lily, he rather safe his girlfriend than his best friend for years. Kind of questionable." And he was right.

JohnB didn't deny any of it, he just stared and that's all she needed to know. Rafe looks at Lily who's hurt, he pokes his cheek with his tongue and looks back at JohnB.

JohnB runs and starts to climb a latter until Rafe pulls him down, the engine starts getting louder and ticks faster. Then in a blink the whole room fills with fire and explodes but not for long, only for a second.

JB takes the chance and runs again, Lily covers her eyes and finds Rafe, they both head out of the room and Lily hugs him with tears in her eyes and nothing but confusion. He comforts her and kisses the top of her head. Yes he is crazy, but my heart beats faster with him.

Pope powers up the crane, Kie and JJ makes sure he follows their directions on getting the Cross. "Bring her in to the middle." Kie yells waving her hands.

Pope steers to fast making JJ who has the rope, fall face plant on the floor. "Sorry! My bad!" Pope yells with his teeth wide and together.

"Your other middle." Kie yells from afar, Cleo runs into view and helps Pope more since she's more to surface, "Send it up! You got it!" She yells.

"Did JohnB get the lifeboat?"

"I don't see him?"

"Where's Sarah?"

"Nah man, where's Lily?" JJ yells from below.

Sarah gets the lifeboat ready and sets down the latter until Ward walks up to her.

Rafe and Lily help out each other by getting solution for the eyes. "If I have to leave Rafe, promise me that you will still be here for me?"

"I promise."

JohnB runs around the ship to find Sarah, but loses his direction in all rooms.

"You get the hell away from me!" Sarah yells with anger, tears filling her eyes.  "I'm not doing this shit anymore! I'm not going with you!"

"I know. I get it. I finally understand. You're not one of us, right?" Ward says shaking his head. "Not anymore. And you never will be."

"So, what do I do now?"

"You let me go." Sarah sniffles and her voice breaks. "Let you go?" Ward smiles in disbelief. "Let you go back and tell everybody that im alive?"

He walks up closer to her until he's a couple feet away, he grabs her face and his eyes fill. "You know I can do that."

"I don't know what to do with you!" he says getting paranoid, Sarah trys to push him away but flashbacks hit her and he has his hands on her neck tightly.

"Dad." Sarah cry's and trys anything in her power to push him off, "Dont call me that." Ward sobs and shakes his head. "Dad." she repeats.

JohnB runs up and pushes Ward off of her and punches him to the floor.

JJ and Kie get into a fight with the captain and knock him out.

Ward and JohnB fight and Ward gets thrown onto the floor with the edge of the floor cutting into his head, making him bleed.

Pope and Cleo move the cross over the water, "If I can't have it, no one can."

The captain throws JJ overboard and into the water, Kie punches the captain one last time before jumping in the water.

Sarah and JohnB jump into the water and get onto the lifeboat and get situated.

Rafe drags Lily outside and she looks at everything happening, she wants to run after her brother but Rafes tight hold doesn't budge.

Rafe looks over to see the cross about to drop into the water and runs and grabs the rope that's attached to it, "No, no, no." he says pulling with all his strength.

Pope and Cleo jump into the water and swim over to the lifeboat. Lily panics and the crew members help get the cross back to the surface.

Rafe stands up and looks at Lily, she runs up to him giving him one last kiss not knowing when she'll see him again. "I love you." He says smiling before letting her go, she whispers it back and runs off the ship and by the boat. She swims, meeting the others besides Kie and JJ.

Sarah pulls Lily up and she coughs out water, "Are you okay?" JohnB asks, she glares over to him and looks away. "Screw you."

"Where's J and Kie?" Pope asks, "On the other side." Lily responds and looks back up to the ship to see Rafe still tugging on the Cross.

They go to the other side and hear yelling, "Help! JohnB!" Kie yells, they reach them and help them onto the small boat.

JJ then coughs out all the water and smiles up to Kie.

Rafe from afar grabs a gun and points it at the distance to the pouges. "Shit." he mumbles not wanting to risk one life he deeply cares for.

Lily looks up and him knowing he isn't capable for actually killing her, she looks back down and he drops the gun.

Then yet again. My heart burned for his and I couldn't handle the thought of losing him. Just then, she felt like she wasn't cared for on this boat. Only by her brother.

Authors Note: As we all know, i've been following the plot of the actual show. But I won't be writing about season 3 of OBX because I don't want this story to be extra long. But I will be recapping everything so yall don't get lost on what happened. The story will continue of season 4. So if you haven't watched the show I suggest not reading the following chapters.
