"so..." Kaveh says.

Alhaitham and Kaveh are still stuck in the storage room. It's been a few minutes, but the two still have not heard anything from Tighnari.

"What is it?" Alhaitham asked.

"I actually don't know. I'm just getting bored," Kaveh said.

"Let's find the documents then," Alhaitham said, standing up and walking towards the shelves.

Kaveh sighed and walked over to the other side to also check. "You know, me helping you check for the documents is a sign for you to let me join the-" the blonde started before Alhaitham stopped him

"No. I didn't tell you to help me," he said firmly.

"Volunteering! You didn't have to tell me and I'm still doing it?" Kaveh retorted.

"Still a no."

"You're no fun."

"Hey Kaveh, watch your head on that door," Alhaitham warned.

"What door?" Kaveh said before hitting his head against the wood. But it was cushioned by something. It was Alhaitham's hand.
Alhaitham had placed his hand over the door to the cupboard as Kaveh approached it.

"Oh, thanks," Kaveh said, rubbing his head. "Why was that open?"

"One of the nails is missing, so it swings open a lot," Alhaitham explained.

"Well, this school is just getting worse by the minute," Kaveh grumbled.

"That's something I can agree on," Alhaitham concurred.

"Hey! We have something in common!"

"Don't try to turn it into a reason to join the committee."

"At least I took the chance."

As the two continued to search, Alhaitham seemed to notice something. "Can you smell that?"

"What smell?" Kaveh furrowed his brows.

"Do you not smell that? It's disgusting."

"Wait, I think I can, but it's faint. Something like rotten milk?"

"Yeah, something like that," Alhaitham said, taking off his blazer. "They should really add ventilation in these rooms, it's stuffy."

"Yeah, it's getting warm," Kaveh agreed, fanning himself with his hand. He noticed Alhaitham seemed a bit distant. "Alhaitham? Are you okay?" Kaveh approached the latter.

There was no response.

"Alhaitham?" Kaveh glanced at his face as it dropped down, facing the ground.
"Shit!" He quickly placed his arm over the boy's nose.

"What are you doing?" Alhaitham said, startled.

"Your nose is bleeding!?" Kaveh exclaimed.

"It is?"

"Alhaitham you're really warm. You need to sit." Kaveh guided the boy against the wall

"But I need to-"

"That can wait until later. You're literally bleeding" Kaveh grew worried

"It's only a nosebleed. I get it all the time when it's hot"

"Just sit!" They two sat beside each other on the floor

"Your shirt..." Alhaitham said, holding Kaveh's arm

"It's fine I'll wash it off after" Kaveh said realising his shirt sleeve was getting drenched in blood

"Sorry. I don't have a tissue. Is there any in here?"

Kaveh glanced around, noticing no signs of tissues "No, but it's fine. Just continue using my shirt until it stops. Lean forward" Kaveh pushed his back

The boys sat in silence as Kaveh held his arm against Alhaitham's face

"I think it stopped," Alhaitham said

Kaveh slowly removed his arm, checking Alhaitham's face. "You might need to wipe that," he said before rubbing the clean part of his sleeve against Alhaitham's nose

"Ow!" Alhaitham pushed his arm away "What was that for?"

"You still had blood around there" he said moving his fingers in a circle motion around his own face

"Oh, thank you"

After what seems like an eternity. The door clicked. Kaveh looked at Alhaitham with hope in his eyes. The door swung open revealing Tighnari and Cyno

"You're fine!" Tighnari sighed

Behind the green-haired boy, Cyno stood laughing as if he had seen the most amusing thing in the world

"Stop that!" Kaveh shot at him

"You got stuck in a storage room! Imagine that!" Cyno continued as Kaveh rolled his eyes

"Kaveh? What happened to your arm?" Tighnari stared with wide eye

"Oh, I forgot about this" Kaveh lifted his arm "It's not my blood. It's Alhaitham's"

"When you said you wanted to get revenge on him, I didn't expect you to get physical..." Cyno stopped laughing

"No no. He just had a nose bleed" Kaveh assured

"How did it get on you? That much..." Tighnari asked confused

"Well, no tissues and I was quick to react. That's all" Kaveh shrugged "Now you guys can stop worrying and let me go back to the dorms" Kaveh then turned to look at Alhaitham "You. Come with me. You need to wash up before you throw up or something" he grabbed Alhaitham's arm and dragged him

"Tighnari, could you please check if there's something expired in that storage room? It smelt really off" Alhaitham said before Kaveh pulled him away

"I'm worried for the two" Cyno says

"Same," Tighnari responded as he watched the boys leave the committee room

"Sit here." Kaveh gently placed Alhaitham on the couch before walking away.

"Where are you going?" Alhaitham asked.

"To grab you some water," Kaveh replied, opening the fridge and taking out a bottle. He opened the bottle, then took a packet of electrolytes from the cabinet and poured it into the water. Shutting the lid, he shook the bottle and walked back to Alhaitham. "Here, drink this."

"Thank you," Alhaitham responded, taking the bottle and drinking some of the water.

Kaveh placed his hand over Alhaitham's forehead, looking him in the eyes. "You should wash up."

Alhaitham was taken aback by the sudden gesture but slowly nodded before standing up. "You can go back to your classes."

"I think all my classes are done for the day. I'll just go check on Tighnari and Cyno."

"Before you go, give me your shirt so I can wash it."

"It's fine, I'll buy a new one."

"What will you wear in the meantime?"

"Probably a random jumper."

"No, you need to make sure you wear the right uniform."

"Yes, Mr. President," Kaveh rolled his eyes before walking to his room. "If you need anything, just call for me."

Alhaitham watched as Kaveh disappeared behind the door before heading into his own room to get into the shower. Before he got in, Alhaitham opened his phone and ordered a new shirt. He then messaged Kaveh, saying, "I ordered you a new shirt, don't bother buying one."

Alhaitham placed his phone down and took a deep sigh before getting ready to head into the shower.

I ended up taking a long break due to my busy schedule lately but I'm back now hopefully posting every Monday
