"Where are you guys?" Kaveh yelled into his phone. The school was filled with students celebrating the last day before the winter break.

Everyone was screaming, dancing, eating, and getting ready to end the school semester. All exams were over, and there was nothing left to stress about now.

"We're near the fountain. Where are you?" Tighnari yelled back into his phone.

"We're at the school entrance, but I don't see you," Kaveh said, trying to navigate through the crowds.

"I see you, we're here," Tighnari waved towards Kaveh.

"I don't see you," Kaveh looked around, still confused.

"Kaveh, they're over there. Follow me," Cyno sighed, leading the way.

As they made their way to the fountain, Kaveh finally spotted Tighnari and Alhaitham.

"Ohhh, there you are," Kaveh said. "Could have made it more obvious."

"This was pretty obvious," Alhaitham said, raising an eyebrow.

"Whatever, let's go eat. I'm hungry," Cyno said.

"Which class are we going to?" Tighnari asked.

"I heard Class 1A is doing a winter wonderland-themed cafe," Alhaitham recommended.

"That seems interesting. Shall we go there then?" Kaveh asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine with that," Tighnari said.

"Me too," Cyno added.

The four made their way inside the school, searching for the class. It didn't take long as the line to the cafe was noticeably long.

"Oh, it's more popular than I thought," Tighnari said, observing the crowd.

"Should we go somewhere else then?" Alhaitham asked.

"We probably should," Cyno agreed.

Before they could move, a voice called out to them. "President!" Collei said. "Are you waiting in line?"

"Yes, but it seems long, so we're going to go somewhere else," Alhaitham said.

"Don't worry, this is my class. I'm sure they can make an exception for you," Collei said with a smile.

"Isn't that rude to cut the line?" Alhaitham said, frowning slightly.

"Don't worry, it's fine," Collei reassured.

"If you say so," Alhaitham responded, slightly hesitant.

"Come on," Collei led the way into the class, which was decorated with snowflakes and artificial snow.

"Wow, this class looks really nice, Collei," Tighnari admired, looking around.

"Thank you! It took us a couple of weeks to agree on the idea and start decorating," Collei sighed. "But we got there in the end."

As they walked further into the room, the festive atmosphere enveloped them. The room was adorned with twinkling lights and cheerful music filled the air. The scent of warm pastries and hot cocoa wafted through the room, making their stomach growl.

A student dressed as an elf greeted them at the entrance. "Welcome to the Winter Wonderland Cafe! Please, have a seat wherever you like."

"Thank you," Tighnari said as they found a table near a window where they could see the falling artificial snow.

Collei beamed. "I'm glad you could make it. Enjoy your time here! I'll see if I can get you some special treats."

As they settled in, a waiter brought over menus decorated with glittery snowflakes. Kaveh eagerly opened his. "This looks amazing! They have gingerbread cookies, hot chocolate, and even some cakes! There's so much."

"Hot chocolate sounds perfect," Cyno said, glancing over the menu.

"I'll go with that too," Tighnari agreed. "And maybe a slice of that yule log cake."

"I'm just glad we didn't have to wait in that long line," Kaveh said, leaning back in his chair.

Alhaitham nodded. "I think this is the most our school has done for a winter festival. It's usually just theatre performances."

"It's because this year I was here to help," Kaveh said proudly.

"You weren't even there for half of the planning," Tighnari said, shaking his head.

"Well, in the small amount of time I was there, I did a lot," Kaveh shot back.

Collei returned with a tray full of treats. "Here you go! Enjoy!"

"Thanks, Collei," they all chimed in unison.

As they dug into their treats, they talked about their plans for the break, sharing whether they were going away or staying home.

Kaveh looked around the room, taking in the happy faces of his friends. "Hey, are we still going to meet for New Year's?" he asked.

"Yeah, Tighnari and I will definitely be there," Cyno said, biting into his biscuit.

"What about you, Alhaitham?" Kaveh asked, glancing over at him.

"What's going on during New Year's?" Alhaitham asked, confused.

"We usually meet at the town park for the New Year's. There's always some sort of fair going on," Tighnari explained.

"Oh, I'll see if I will be able to," Alhaitham said.

"Also remember Tighnari's birthday dinner!" Cyno reminded everyone.

"Yes, we can't forget that," Kaveh said. "I've got you a really nice present, Tighnari. I've been planning it for a year now."

"Is it some sort of science equipment or seeds?" Tighnari asked, raising an eyebrow.

Kaveh shook his head. "No, that's too boring. It's something better."

"It can't be as good as my gift, of course," Cyno said. "Because- I've got you a 'growing' surprise."

"Please never say that again," Tighnari glared at him, suppressing a smile.

"I thought it was pretty funny," Cyno tilted his head, still smirking.

"I would expect Cyno to fill a box full of jokes and give it to you as a present" Kaveh rolled his eyes

"You know? That's actually not a bad idea" Cyno nodded

"Please don't" Kaveh shook his head

"Alhaitham, what else is going on today?" Tighnari glanced at the taller man

"Well the performance" Alhaitham said thinking "there's also a few game stands"

"We should try out some of the games, and see if we win anything?" Tighnari replied

"I'm down for anything" Kaveh responded taking the last bite of his cookie
