Part-13 The Past

They are standing holding each other close to their heart,Monu also hugged him because she knows that whatever the situation was or whatever happened that night was not anyone's mistake its just the circumstances that made them apart.After a long time they broke the hug and looked deeply into each others eyes.

The love, the pain, the longing, the guilt of leaving each other in the most difficult situation everything was reflecting in their eyes.Karan's hand reached to her injuries and creased them gently with tears flowing from his eyes. The marks was making him more guilty because how mach brave commando he is but inside his heart he know that he can't see his heartbeat in this condition.

"Karan... tumhe guilty feel karne ki koyi zaroorat nahi hai. Commandos ke zindgi mein yeh sab injuries tho normal hai na aur mujhe lagtha hai us  raat tumne sahi faisla liya tha. Humara alag hona hi sahi hai kyuki hum ek doosare ko kushi se syada dard dete hai aur jab se ham relationship mein aaya hai na hamare beech khushiya kam dhard syada hai."Karan looks towards her surprisingly and they both remembered that night.

Flashback...

It's just the night after Param bhaiya got arrested and after that they both didn't get time to talk to each other. She was informed by Batra Sir that she needs to go for a mission as an army doctor plus the cadet of PSF and she was confused that how can she leave Karan in the situation. Knowing her situation Batra Sir suggested that she can reject this offer if she wants. But she knows that if she was selected there will be reason so she decided to discuss this with Karan and go ahead with the mission

She was in mess with Sid and others suddenly Karan came there and asked her to meet him in the terrace. She finished her food and they both reached there. She was confused because Karan was not looking towards her,it looks like he was nervous and tensed so she went towards him and hugged him from behind. After some seconds he broke the hug and said,

" Monami... I don't know where to start and how will you react but I took a decision for our relationship which I feel the best for us. " She replied " tho iss mein itna nervous kyu hona hai Karan? Jho bhi hai batao mujhe and I know you will take the best decision for as".

He took a deep breathe and turned away from her then said "Monami yeh koyi kushi ki baath nahi hai in fact mere liye bhi yeh bohut mushkil hai... Tumne dekha  na bhaiya kaise tumhare sar pe gun rakhkar mujhe blackmail kar raha tha aur us dhin pushpa bhi tumhe target kiya tha. Itna sab kuch yeh PRF ka mission yeh sab kuch Balli ke kaaran hua aur Balli   iss mission ke liye ha kyu kaha? Kyuki use tum pasand aagayi thi aur tum iss mein aayi kaise isiliye kyuki tum meri girlfriend ho."

Monami doesn't know what to say so she turned him towards her and asked "Jho bhi kehna hai saaf saaf bolo Karan!" From her expression he understand that she  got an idea about what he is going to say. He continued " Monami... Sab ne tumhe mera... Mera weakness samajh rakha hai. Sab... Sab ko lagta hai Monami ko dhikhakar Karan se kuch bhi kara  saktha hai ...aur...aur yeh sach bhi hai kyuki... Kyuki jab baat tumhari safety pe aati hai na tho... Tho main freeze ho jata hoon aur mujhe samajh nahi aata main kya karu...Thumhara pyaar mujhe kamzoor bana raha hai Monami... Isi wajah se Us dhin pushpa phir Balli aur ajj bhaiya jeet gaye! Isiliye... " He don't know how to say those words and she understands what he want to say.

Monami's eyes filled with tears and she asked " Isiliye... Isiliye kya Karan? Tum hame... Hame aur hamare pyaar... Pyaar ko sacrifice kar rahi ho???Answer me Karan!!"He nodded his head controlling his tears and she froze.

Monami doesn't know how to react and looking at her Karan don't how to console her because inside his heart he was breaking and for her safety he can't show that. He decided to keep his emotions  inside him and said to her" Ha Monami, main bohut soch samajkar yeh faisla liya hai aur yahi hum dono ki personal aur professional life keliye best hai...I'm breaking up with you...!"

He said and left the place because he know that if he stay one  more second there then he will hug her tightly and never let her go.Monami falls to the floor and started to cry badly because she never thought that Karan will take such decision and after his proposal she started to imagine her entire life with him, to live with him,becoming a member of his family,  getting older with him, and be with him till her last breath.

Karan's condition was not less,he went to the storeroom and started to punch his hands in the wall with tears flowing from his eyes.Afterall they both love each other deeply, madly and unconditionally they know that no one in the world can replace their places in each others life and   there is no place for anyone else in their life.The next day Monami went for the mission and Karan went back to his old darkness filled life.
