Part-8 New Commando

Minister sir took the mike and says " I had heard a lot about this brave girl from Batra Sir and I'm feeling very proud that even after being a doctor and having her own big hospital she chooses to serve the nation. Congratulations Monami!" She take the medal from Minister sir and turned to go when Batra sir said.

" Monami wait for some time, so as you all know this is Monami's second mission the first one she completed with Faizi and Sanjana against PRF. The ministry specially recommended after watching her performance in the last mission that, they want to promote Monami as a Commando from now on, equal to the post of Agent Karan Shergill. "

This was a shocking and surprising news for everyone including Monami. She never thought like this, that also just in one year. " I know there will be many questions specially how this will be possible just in one year and all but she is already a doctor with that she performed like a real commando from the very first. I personally believe that Monami deserve this and believe that you all are  happy for her. "

Everyone came out from their trance and started to clap for her, the sound made Monami came out from her zone,it took some time for her to register everything and happy tears started to flow from her eyes. She was genuinely happy  after a whole month, finally she completed her  dream, she became like her mother. Batra sir  continued,

" Monami you will join duty only after you completely recovered and share your duties with Faizi and Sanjana. Yes your position is equal to Karan but l want you to practice more with Faizi and Sanjana. "She nodded her head." Aur tumhare is achievement mein tumhe commando ki medal  handover karne ke liye tumhare zindgi ke sabsi khaas insan ko main stage mein invite kar raha hoon. "

Everyone's attention went towards Karan who was sitting there with very proud smile on his face. He cannot believe this, his Rani Saheba became a commando in just a short time and he was happiest because her position is equal to him.For Sid, this is the best moment in his life which he dreamed since knowing her determination to be like her mother. But he was not happy that Karan will handover her the medal even after hurting her. But Batra Sir's announcement shocked all of them.

"The person is, Dr. Deepak Mahajan... Monami's father." There stood dr. Mahajan with not so happy face but he came to stage and handover the award to her and for Monami she cannot wish for anything more,  this is the best and grateful moment of her life.Soon the function ends. Monami looks towards her father who was sitting beside her.She took him to a corner to talk with him.

" Papa ... Thank you so much! Yaha tak aakar mujhe yeh medal dene ke liye. " His facial expression changed to anger and he said " Tumhe kya laga Monami? Main bohut kush hoon tumhe lekar ya phir yeh jaankar ki tum ab ek commando ho ! Ha? " Her eyes filled with tears and everyone can sense something is wrong from her expression but no one went to them because they wanted to give the father daughter duo some privacy." I came here because Mr. Batra and Mrs Batra insisted. I'm not happy that you became like your mother.Because now I'm all alone in this world  and you left me just like your mother. Everyone... you, Sid and that Karan!all thinks that I'm the worst father in the world who cannot support his daughter's dream and do not love her. But I'm not that bad Monami ... I still want you to come back with me because I want you safe and secured around me. If I stopped Juhi that day...now she will be with us... but I let her go...I'm not gonna repeat my mistakes again . "

His voice became painful after remembering his wife, he is not that bad. It's just that emotional damage happened to him after loosing his wife, he doesn't want that to happen with his daughter because she is the only one he have in his life now. To make her safe he chooses to be rude and strict with her.

Monami now understands her father and his fears so she suddenly hugged him tightly and sobbed in his arms what she hided inside her in this one month. " I'm sorry papa... I'm... I'm really... So... Sorry... Mujhe pehle hi aapki dard samajhkar... Aap.. aapke paas aana chahiye...  tha. I... I left you alone and now I'm all alone in this world papa... "And here he understand something was bothering his daughter and she is in an emotional damage,after all he is her father and he can understand  her more than anyone.

"I promise papa... Main.. Main apna khayal rakhoongi. Har mission...mission mein carefull rahoongi. Main aap..aapko kabhi chodke nahi... nahi jaoongi papa." He understand that his daughter needs him so he hugged her back and asked" MONA... kya hua BACHHA...? " That was it she started to cry more but soundlessly because he called her by the name he avoided all these years to address her also she is getting  her father's love and affection after so many years.

His shirt get drenched by her tears. Sid and Mr. Ganju also became emotional and Sid hugged his father. One person who was standing in a corner and watched all this,  fisted his hands in anger  and left the auditorium with painful expression , that is karan.
