Part 21- Holidays

After the party everyone went to their room and some of them are leaving to their home tomorrow. Sumanji and Prem ji are going to their village Chitra was going to catch up with her friends. Bala as always with his Sid bhaiji and Koel decided to spent some with Faizi because Nikhil loved his dhadhi who is Faizi 's Ammi and he went with her. Sanju is also going to her village and all know that Sid will follow her there with Balaji bro.

In the matter of Karan and Monami they didn't know each others plan because they didn't talk to each other or we should say that Monami avoided him throughout the party.She was going to her room but suddenly someone pulled her to corner, she about to scream but that person put his hand on her mouth.She looks towards him and he is obviously Karan only. He was looking towards her intensity and she also get lost in his eyes. After some time he removed his hands and she came back to reality.

"Karan, yeh tum kya kar rahe ho! Agar kisi ne dekh liya tho?" She tried to release herself from him but he pulled her more closer and said " Pehle tum batao, tumne aise kapde kyu pehni hai aur woh bhi apni hi success party mein! Kyu apne aapko aise alag rakh rahi ho sabse ! Bolo Monami... "She came out from his hold and said.

"Karan... Tum kyu nahi samaj rahe ho... Main... Mujhe ab puraani jaisi zindgi nahi chahiye! Main aise hi rahna chahati hoon!Puraani Monami koyi aur thi ab main koyi aur hoon. Desh ki seva karana hi meri zindgi ka maksad hai.Yeh dressed up hona aur party karna yeh sab ab main nahi karna chahathi hoon . So pls mujhe disturb math karo."

She turned to leave but Karan said" vaise... Dekha jaaye tho mera faydha hi hua hai!"She turned back and looks towards him then asked" Matlab? "He came towards her and said"Main aise thayyar hokar aaya kyuki mujhe laga tum aakar hamesha ki tarah sabki attention le lega,so as a boyfriend mujhe tumse match hona chahiye...Par tum aise aayi tho koyi bhi tumhe syada der tak nihaara nahi... Warna koyi bhi tumhe paanch seconds se syada dekh the, mujhe party chodkar unke haddiya thodne padthe..."

She was standing there with an "unbelievable "expression on her face and he hold her waist and pull her closer then said "Aur waise bhi tumhe jaise rahana hai raho, jo pehna he pehno,par main tumse aise hi pyaar kartha rahoonga... Mera pyaar tumhari behavior or attire badalne se kam nahi hoga...Mujhe tumhari har roop pasand hai Raani Saheba... " Monami was in a state where she doesn't know how to react because the distance she was creating between them was decreasing in front of his love .

He removed some hair strands from her face and asked while smirking "Ek important baath puchna tha, Humara kal ka plan kya hai... ghar jaana hai ya phir kahi baahar chale? Waise ghar pe bhabhi aur baby nahi hai tho ghar hi chalte hai... Tum syada travel nahi kar sakthi na."

She was shocked and came out from his hold " Ky... Kya! tu... Tum yeh kya bol rahe ho? Tu... Tumhe pata hai na hum...humhe kal se academy sambalna hai!" Karan chuckled after seeing her behavior then said " Raani Saheba... Aap yeh atak atak kar kyu bolrahi ho? Aur bhool gayi kya... Kal se ek hafthe ki chuthi hai, Sab koyi na koyi plan bana chuka hai sirf hamhe hi time nahi mila kuch decide karne ka... Isiliye main ne apna suggestion bataya ... " She was relieved and said "Oh! Main bhool gayi thi... Aur mujhe laga tum..." She stopped in middle and looks towards him, he has a naughty smile in his face and he pulled her towards himself.

" Tumhe kya laga... Bolo, tum kya soch rahi thi... " He asked in a husky voice and she looks downward to hide her red cheeks and he feel a joy inside him after seeing his effects on her. She composed herself and came out from his grip then said "Mera kahi jaane ka koyi plan nahi hai. Main academy mein hi rehke rest karoongi Ya phir ghar jaoongi, kuch din dad ke saath rehna hai mujhe."He nodded his head understanding her and decided that if she stays here so he will also going to stay in the academy only. If she wants go home he will make sure that she reached safely. She went towards her room and he also left towards his room.

Next morning everyone went according to their plans and both Karan and Monami stayed in the academy only. Two days went with Karan spending maximum time with Monami and taking care of her like a small kid. She also didn't refused to anything because she knows that whatever the situation is she cannot win over his love. It's the third day of their holiday and she woke up early and get ready to go to her home. She didn't tell this to Karan because she thought that he will not allow her.

She reached the main gate and searched her phone to check the location of the cab but suddenly a jeep came and stopped in front of her. She get sacred and looks forward to witness Karan was sitting in the jeep with an angry expression. She realized that he get to know her plan and somewhere feels guilty that she didn't informed him about her plan. " Cancel the cab and get inside... I'm taking you to your home...and don't worry I will not force you to go anywhere else... "His cold voice made her more guilty, she thought that she will inform him after reaching there but he find it before that.She get inside and put her bags on the back seat and wears the seatbelt."Karan Main..." But before she could complete he started the jeep and started to drive, she understood that it's not the time for an explanation because she did a big mistake. She was wrong, Karan will never stop her from doing something she wanted to and not came between her and her father. He will only stop her from going away from him.

Throughout the journey there was a complete silence filled between them. Karan was angry and hurt that she didn't informed him about her plan and she was ready to leave him alone in the academy. He wanted to spent most time with her these days without any interference. She was scared and guilty that she doubted him and she knows that if she talk with him now it will anger him more.They reached in front of her house and he get down from the jeep and took her bag and she also get down from the Jeep. He gave the bag to her and opened the jeep door to go back but suddenly a voice stopped them. "Monami..." They turn back and saw that Dr. Mahajan was coming towards them.

"Mona... Karan, tum dono itni subhah... Is everything ok!"He asked and Monami replied "Yes Dad, everything is ok...Woh academy mein Kuch din holiday hai, isiliye main ne socha kuch din aapke paas aake rahoon. Duty join karne ke baadh pata nahi kab ghar aane ka moka milega... Aur karan mujhe drop karne aayaa hai".He nodded his head and turned to Karan and asked " Itna dhoor tak aaye ho aur ghar aaye bina vaapas jaarahe ho? "

"Sir, mujhe kuch zaroorai kaam hai aur main chalthi hoon." Karan turned to leave but Mr. Mahajan said" Jab tum dono ke beech confession tak nahi hua tha tab tum seedhe mere ghar ke andhar aakar mujhse meri beti ki sapno keliye lada tha aur ab uska boyfriend ho lekin use gate pe hi chodke jaa rahi ho? "Not Karan or Monami expected something like this from him and Karan decided to went inside, Monami was also happy. They entered into hall and sit in the sofa and Karan looked around hall . He saw Monami's mother picture and concluded that she looks exactly like her mother. The last time he didn't payed attention to any of these.

Servant bring coffee for them and they talked for sometime. Whenever Dr. Mahajan talked about his wife Karan witness a shine and pride in his eyes and he realized that how much he is missing his wife. It's just his pain that reflected in the form of hatred towards army. After sometime Karan got up to leave but Dr. Mahajan said" Jab main ne tumhe hospital mein pehli baar dekha tha na, tumahare aankhon mein meri beti keliye care aur concerns saaf saaf dikh raha tha aur kahi na kahi pyaar bhi. Tab hi main samaj gaya tha tumse meri beti ko dhoor rakna mushkil hoga. "

Karan and Monami doesn't expected this from him. "But tum apne pyaar ko izhaar karne se pehle hi meri beti ko mere aankhon ke saamne meri hi ghar se leke gaye...Jab Mona college mein bhi koyi boyfriend nahi banaya tha na tab mujhe doubt hua aakhir yeh kaisa insaan choose karegi apni life mein. Mujhe bilkul nahi laga tha woh ek commando ko choose karega,sirf itna hi nahi woh hudh ek comnando ban gayi... Anyway tum mujhe syadha pasand tho nahi ho aur naahi main tum dono ke rishthe ko accept kiya hai... Par mujhe pata hai tum hi mera daamad banoge... Aakhir pyaar mein meri beti bhi bilkul mujh par gayi hai...Zindgi mein pyaar ek hi baar karthi hai aur woh bhi puri shiddhat se."When he said the last line his eyes was fixed on his wife 's photo.

Karan and Monami looks towards eachother and then Karan said to Dr. Mahajan "Ok sir, main chaltha hoon " He nodded his head went towards upstairs. Karan didn't even looks towards Monami and went out of the house and Monami followed him. They reached near his jeep, he was about to open the door but she hold his hand and said" I'm sorry Karan. Pls mujhse gussa hoke math jaao". He doesn't said anything just removed her grip and gave her a short hug then get inside the jeep and droved off without saying anything .She stayed there for a long time looking at they way he went with tears filled eyes.
