Part 33- The Confession

Moran spend some time together in gurudwara and they were really very happy. Monami was thankful because her prayers were heard and she got her Karan back, for Karan he feels like he is the luckiest man in the world to get a gem like Monami. He never leave her hand even for a second, he was falling in love with her again and again. They are the perfect example of ' She fell first... But...He fell harder...'. Karan's love for his Raani Saheba is so pure which reflects in his eyes clearly and for Monami, he is her home.

They come out from the gurudwara and reach near the parking suddenly Karan get a call so he said to Monami that wait there,he will finish the call and came back with the bike and she nodded her head in yes. She look towards her surroundings and find someone familiar so she went towards the person and calls,

"Balli..."

He turned and surprised after seeing her and for some seconds he get lost in her but he composed himself and asked surprisingly,

"Monami... Tum yahan... Aaj kisi khas din hai kya?"

She replied,

"Kuch nahi...Bas Karan ke saat aayi hoon...Tum batao, tum yahan kaise"

He just look towards her without knowing what to say, the feeling he always try to hide was coming out after seeing her like this and finally he decide to tell the truth.

" Woh sach kahu tho main yahan tumhare liye aaya hoon... Woh... jab tum mission pe gaye the aur tumhe goli lagi thi... maine news mein dekha tha... Aur maine minnate maangi thi tumhare liye... "

Monami didn't expected this and she doesn't know how to react because she can see the care and concern in his eyes for her, somewhere his eyes also reflecting the unsaid emotion that he have for her.But she knows that the feelings will only give him pain because the truth is that she doesn't even like him that much. She can forgive him for what he did to her but she cannot forget or forgive him for what he did to Karan, she was almost lost Karan and the main reason was him.She also knows that it was not completely Balli 's fault and he is changed as a good person but his feelings... His feelings is not good for both of them, he needs to move on.

"Balli... Tumhe mere liye kuch bhi karne ki zaroorat nahi hai...tumne academy keliye... Mission keliye jo kuch bhi kiya... I will always be thankful... But..."

He cut her in between and come little close to her and said,

" Mujhe pata hai tum woh kabhi nahi bhool sakta jo holi ke din hua tha... Uss galti keliye tho main bhi hudko kabhi maaf nahi kar paaunga... Par Monami... Kya main... Main tumhare dosth bhi nahi ban sakta... Mujhe bas tumhari zindgi aur tumhari dil mein ek choti si jagah chahiye... Jo mujhe tumse jod ke rakhe... Humesha keliye... "

Monami was thinking what to say because his request is very genuine and he really want to be with her at least as a friend but she doesn't want to keep any relation with him because she don't trust him and there is no relation is possible without trust. Monami was also a person who cannot break someone's heart and she can't hurt someone. She composed herself and said,

"Balli... Baat uss din ki nahi hai... Main... Main bas... Yeh kabhi nahi bhool sakthi... Ki tumhare wajah se karan mujhse dhoor hua tha...uss vakt jiss dard se main gusari thi... Woh main yaad bhi nahi Karna chahati hoon... Par... Par... Tumhe dekhte hi mujhe woh... Woh sab yaad aa jati hai..."

She somehow managed to say this much and she doesn't want to add more because she was seeing the pain in his eyes. Balli always knows that she can't be his but somewhere he has a little hope that at least she may agrees to be his friend. All his dreams are shattered and there is nothing for him to hope. Maybe this is the last chance for him to confess his feelings because he understand that seeing him also give her pain and he doesn't want to hurt her in anyway.He always hided his feelings thinking that she may break all the connection with him,but now there is nothing between them not even a little friendship, what's the need to hide anything. He took a deep breath and confessed,
