The hospital corridors echoed with the tension between Aditee and Seema. Aditee, back to her rounds after the engagement, tried to mend the rift between them.

"Sisi, sun na yaar," Aditee pleaded softly, her white coat rustling as she reached out to Seema. (Sisi, listen na)

Seema's arms remained tightly crossed over her chest, her expression stony. "Tu baat mat kar mujhse," she retorted, her tone sharp with hurt. (You better not talk to me)

Aditee's heart sank at her friend's cold response. "Meri best friend hai na tu. Toh baat nahi karegi apni buddhu dost se," she said, her voice tinged with sadness. (You are my best friend na. Won't you talk to your stupid friend.)

"Ab yaad aayi tujhe meri. Kuchh dino ke liye Delhi kya chali gayi, paraya kar Diya tune mujhe. Aur himmat toh dekh teri bataya bhi nahi shaadi kis se ho Rahi hai. Gussa hu Mai tujhse. So, Bye," Seema exclaimed dramatically, her frustration evident. (Now you remember me. I went to Delhi for a few days and you decided to get rid of me. And you didn't even have the courage to tell me who you're getting married to. I'm angry with you. So, Bye.)

Aditee sighed, feeling a pang of guilt. "Dekh pehle toh tera phone kharab ho Gaya isme meri galti nahi hai. Aur tere gharwale call utha nahi rahe the, toh kya karti mai," she explained, hoping Seema would understand. (Look, the fact that your phone was unreachable isn't my fault. And even your family wasn't picking up my calls. So what could I have done.)

Seema grabbed her bag, her glare softening slightly. But before she could storm out of the corridor, Aditee's words stopped her in her tracks.

"Aur Hukum ne date final ki thi. Toh koi kuch keh nahi paaya," Aditee added quietly, her voice laden with regret. (And Hukum finalized the date date. So we didn't really have a say.)

Seema froze, her eyes widening in shock as she turned back to face Aditee. The realization of what she had missed hit her like a ton of bricks, and she stood there, speechless, her anger momentarily forgotten.

"Come again. Hukum?" Seema questioned, her eyes widening in disbelief.

Aditee took a deep breath, trying to steady her nerves. "Arey bhul gayi. 1st year mein tune hi to bataya tha mujhe unke baare mein. Hukum Rudraksh Rajvanshi," she replied, recounting the shocking events of the past few days, from Shubham's audacious visit to her house to Hukum's unexpected proposal at her father's office. ( You forgot. You were the one who told me about him in 1st year. Hukum Rudraksh Rajvanshi.)

Seema gasped in horror at the revelation, her hand flying to her mouth in shock. She listened intently as Aditee filled her in on the details, her expression a mix of concern and intrigue. As they walked out of the hospital together, Seema continued to feed Aditee with questions about her impending marriage, offering advice and cautionary words about Hukum.

Despite her friend's warnings, Aditee couldn't help but feel a flutter of excitement at the thought of marrying her long-time crush. The image of Hukum leaning casually against his sleek Mercedes Benz, dressed impeccably in a black suit with the top two buttons undone, sent a rush of warmth to her cheeks.

Seema noticed Aditee's blush and couldn't resist teasing her with a knowing smile. "Looks like someone's got a crush," she teased playfully, nudging Aditee with her elbow.

Aditee rolled her eyes, trying to hide her embarrassment. "Shut up, Seema," she muttered, her cheeks burning brighter.

With a final wave goodbye, Aditee parted ways with her friend and made her way over to where Hukum was waiting for her. As she stood before him, she couldn't help but feel a surge of anticipation mingled with nerves. He was about to become her husband, her Hukum.

In the dimly lit interior of the car, Aditee's delicate features were illuminated by a soft glow, her eyes cast downward in a timid manner as she addressed Hukum. "Aap, yaha?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. (You. Here?)

"Hmm," Hukum replied, his tone low and reassuring. "Apni biwi ko date par le jaana chate hai. Chalengi aap hamare saath?" His words held a gentle warmth, coaxing Aditee out of her shell. ( I wanted to ask my wife on a date? Will you come?)

"Ji," she responded softly, a shy smile tugging at the corners of her lips as she accepted his invitation.

As Hukum opened the door of the passenger seat for her, Aditee's heart fluttered with a mixture of nerves and excitement. She settled into the seat, her hands fidgeting nervously in her lap as Hukum took his place behind the wheel.

Leaning towards her, Hukum reached for the seatbelt, his movements deliberate and purposeful. But as he drew closer, he couldn't help but notice the effect he had on Aditee. The subtle shift in her demeanor did not go unnoticed, and a small smirk played at the corners of his lips.

"Agar isi tarah se sharmati rahogi, Date par nahi ja payenge hum," he remarked, his voice laced with amusement as he teased her gently. (If you keep blushing like this, we won't be able to go on a date.)

Though Aditee had lost her voice in the proximity of his presence, she managed to muster up the courage to speak. "Kyu?" she questioned, her voice barely above a whisper as she met his gaze.(Why)

In response, Hukum leaned even closer, his breath mingling with hers as he spoke. "I won't be able to stop myself from kissing you," he confessed, his words sending a shiver down her spine. "And I know for sure, once I start there is no stopping."

Aditee's eyes widened in shock at the intensity of his declaration, her heart racing with a heady mix of emotions. But before she could respond, Hukum leaned back in his seat, his hand reaching out to pat her head gently.

"Don't worry," he reassured her, his voice soft yet firm. "Ijajat ke Bina chhuna hamari fitrat mein nahi." And with that, he started the car, leaving Aditee to ponder the implications of his words as they embarked on their date together. (I am not the one to touch without consent.)
