Skip to the day of the dance. Lets just assume nothing interesting happened from then and now.

Today was the day of the Freshman Ball. Or dance. I had already gone dress shopping, and settled on a turquiose blue dress, and blue heels. I decided to straighten my hair and pull one side back with a bobby pin.
"Hey baby girl," my mom said coming into the room. "you look beautiful."
"Thanks mom," i smiled.
"You're growing up so fast, i can't believe you're my big freshman," she said.
"Mom!" I groaned. I turned to look at myself in the mirror. My face was completely different. I had black eyeliner on, with a very light tint of blue eyeshadow. I put on light pink blush, and pink lip gloss, and black mascara. I hardly looked like myself.
Just then the doorbell rang. Caleb was here.
"Got it!" my dad said. I rushed to the edge of the stairs and ran down them, trying not to trip over my dress or my own feet.
"Hey Caleb," i smiled. My mom handed me my wallet, and Caleb just stood there standing. He was wearing a very handsome looking tuxedo, which made him look more hot than usual. "What are you looking at?"
He just smiled. "You. You look, amazing. Gorgeous."
"thanks. You look handsome."
"Shall we?" he asked, holding out his hand.
"Gladly." i took his hand and he escorted me to his mom's car. He helped me into the middle seat of the car. Sometimes, he was a gentleman.
When we got to the school, it was decorated all fancy with lights and streamers. Caleb took my hand and we walked into the gym, where the dance was.
A slow song came on, and he dragged me to the dance floor, where everyone else was. (This usually doesn't happen at middle school dances. People honestly.don't even bring dates just their friends, but...)
He wrapped his arms around me and I leaned on his chest.
"I will never forget this," I said, smiling.
"Your night has just started," Caleb laughed. "It's not over yet. At least not until I do this." He looked into my eyes. "I love you, Jess. And I always will. You are my forever, my always. My okay, okay?"
"Okay." (A little TFIOS) "Love you too."
He pulled me in closer. At that moment our lips touched and everything seemed to freeze. It was okay though, I had my forever and always, and nothing else mattered.
So, I know it was short, but it was cute at the end, if I do say so myself. :) hope you enjoyed!!
