Halle led us up to her room.
"So, as I was saying Caleb," she said, circling him. "People change. I changed. But I want you to know something." She bent down and whispered something in his ear that was inaudible.
"Yeah, well too bad, because I already have someone," Caleb retorted at her. I'm guessing she said something about being girlfriend and boyfriend.
"And if your just gonna sit here and talk about when you decided to break up with me, I'm going to leave. Come one Jess, you shouldn't have to be here or have to deal with this."
I stood up to leave, and Caleb grasped my hand. He reached for the doorknob before Halle stopped us.
"Dont leave yet!" She called. "You want to know the real reason I broke up with you Caleb?"
"And that would be because?"
"You were going to break up with me first. I did it so I wouldn't have to go through you breaking up with me. And you know the worst part of it all?"
"She sure likes to rant," I muttered. "Delight us."
"Shut up. I wasn't talking to you," Halle growled.
"Don't talk to my girlfriend that way," Caleb said, putting a protective arm around me. "You were saying."
"You didn't even seem to care that I left you. Caleb don't you remember that?"
"Cant say I have," he shrugged. "Goodbye."
"Oh, no, you are not leaving yet!" For a girl in heels, she ran pretty fast. Halle put her body in front to the door. "I need to tell you something Caleb."
"Then tell me or I'm leaving."
I felt like the third wheel. I mean, I wasn't here when they were dating, but still. I just watched, as the ugly scene unfolded before my eyes.
"I still like you. Don't you remember that?"
"No."
"Then do you remember this?"
Halle smashed her lips into Caleb's. She pulled away in a matter of seconds, but it wasn't the kiss that surprised me. It was what happened after that did.
He said two words that could shatter a person's heart into a million tiny pieces. He said the two words that changed everything. The two words that broke a promise he told me.
"I remember."
So, that was an exceptionally short chapter. Which to tell you that it is the last chapter of the book. The sequel will be out soon! Maybe today if your lucky, maybe tomorrow. Yeah. I left you on a cliffhanger. What do you think will happen to Caleb and Jess. Will they break up? Or will they stay together?

So, this story is finished. A total of 14 chapters. I hope that the next one will be 20+ chapters. I might have more material then. I just wanted to leave you off here. I know, I'm an evil person. Lol, just kidding, or am I??????
