Thank you so much for all your support!! There is an important authors note at the end, and I would appreciate it if you would read it.
Annie and I ran out to the car where Katie and Hayley were waiting.
"Alright, we should hurry," Katie said.
I nodded.
"Are you okay?" Annie asked, looking at me funny.
"Um, yeah. I'm fine, thanks."
"No you aren't," she said. "Whats wrong?"
"If I tell you, can you promise not to tell anyone else?"
"Of course!"
"I think April had something to do with Caleb's injury. She despises me, and I think she'd do anything to ruin our relationship, starting with hurting Caleb, probably so I'll get mad, fight back, and then she'll blame for everything and then Caleb will break up with me."
"If he breaks up with you I will break him," Annie whispered.
I laughed. We pulled into the hospital parking lot, and got to Caleb's room, where he was sitting on the edge of the bed, on his phone.
"Hey Caleb," I smiled. He got up and hugged me.
"Hey beautiful," he responded.
"So, what was it?"
"Concussion. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good," he told us trying to explain.
"A mild one?" I asked.
He smirked. They released him, but told us to make sure he didn't do anything that would get himself hurt. In the head.
So when we got to his house, he walked in, laid on the couch, and turned on the tv.
Katie didn't argue. I sat down next to him.
We ended up watching Lab Rats. It meant for younger kids, but it's still funny for older kids.
A new episode was on, and it was a crossover with Mighty Med. I was watching, but couldn't help smiling like an idiot when Chase got hurt.
"What are you smiling about?" Caleb asked.
"I have a terrible disease called I-love-when-my-favorite-characters-get-hurt-because-it-makes-the-show-ten-times-better-and-I-dont-know-why," I explained. "Youre lucky you don't suffer from it."
"You like Chase?"
"He's hot," I replied. "But not as hot as you. He's my Celeb crush, tied with DoB."
"You do love Dylan," he said, shaking his head.
We changed the channel when the episode was over to Teen Wolf, on MTV. It was just reruns, since the next episode didn't air until Monday.
"Caleb," I suddenly asked. I needed to tell him what I thought about April sooner or later. "I need to talk to you."
"What about?" he asked, with his arm around my shoulder.
"I think April did something so you'd purposely get hurt."
"No surprise there," he remarked.
"You knew?"
"It was a hunch. She hates me now," he said laughing.
"I'm glad you knew. I was worried you'd get mad that I would think that."
"I could never get mad at you Jess."
"I'm glad."
I laid my head down on his arm, and watched tv with him. After an hour, I can safely say we fell asleep. And Annie woke us up saying Caleb phone had been going off for five minutes.
"Its a text from April," he said. "She wants you to go to her house so she can talk to you? Tomorrow after school."
"I don't think I'm comfortable going over her house alone," I told Caleb.
"I don't blame you. I'll come."
"Okay."
He kissed me on the forehead. "I'm gonna go get ready for baseball."
"You can't play though! That's what the doctor said."
"I can support them," he protested.
I smiled. He was so difficult sometimes, but that's why I like him.
So finished.
My grandma made it out of surgery and is in stable condition so far. They will keep her in the hospital for another week or so, just to make sure she's ok. Thank you guys for all of your support! I can't thank you enough for your understanding. And having to wait for this pretty terrible chapter, but hopefully it will be better next chapter!

Also, how do you like the new cover. I kinda changed it because I wanted, a change. (Pun not intended)
