Since the day I decided to stop approaching Margot, we haven't exchanged a word. I know she must be busy due to her magazine launch date, but she didn't even bother to say hello to me when we bumped into each other. Today I decided to take the day off and chill at home.

I wanted a break from Margot's let's-avoid-Kev attitude. I was watching Netflix when my phone started to ring. Margot's name flashed on my screen. I looked at the time and immediately picked up her call. "Yes, Mar."

Again, with a cautious tone, she asked. "Where are you?"

Curiosity coursed through me. "I am at my place but what's going on? Is everything okay with you?"

With a hesitant tone, she asked. "Can we talk right now?"

I squinted. "What do you want to talk about, Mar?"

Margot immediately responded by stammering. "If... if you are busy so we can talk tomorrow or whenever you'll be free.

I sighed. "Mar, we can talk right now; in fact, we can talk whenever you want. you don't need to call and ask for my permission."

The call immediately ended and I was wondering whether she cut the call or if it was some network issue. Should I call her back or wait for her to call? I heard my doorbell and while thinking about what I should do, I opened the door without bothering to look into the screen and check who was at my door. I was taken aback because Margot was standing right in front of me.

I shrugged my head and asked her to come inside. While stepping in, Margot repeated what I told her a few moments ago. "You told me we could talk right now."

I nodded. "Yes, that's right but first tell me if you want anything to drink or eat."

Margot took a deep breath. "Water."

I hurried into my kitchen and got her a glass of water. she gulped the whole glass in one go. She cleared her throat and kept the glass on the table. "Did you tell anyone about me and Ian?"

I shook my head. "OfCourse not. why would I?"

Margot asked another question. "How do you know about Phil?"

I squinted. "I don't know anything about him."

Margot raised her brow, and I sensed she needed the detail, so I sighed. "It was Sawyer who had been telling me about you for those ten years. On our last summer at the beach house, Sawyer and I became friends and still we are. He was the one who only knew about my feelings for you since then."

Margot nodded and I added. "In fact, Sawyer helped me to select Goldie as a gift for you."

Margot didn't even let me complete. "Select what?"

I repeated. "Goldie."

Margot's voice raised a bit. "You bought the Goldie?"

I nodded. "But before your birthday we had that nasty fight, and I left Glisten but trust me I never asked anything about you in those years. I never stalked you.  have no idea what you been through and how your life has been. Yeah, Sawyer once told me about Phil."

Margot narrowed her brows. "You are once again distant from me."

I shot up my shoulders. "You are the one pushing me away so what choice did I have?"

Margot raised her hand. "I don't come here today to play any blame game I come here to tell you something."

Margot asked. "Remember I came to your room the day you saw me and Ian?"

I nodded. "Yeah, but..."

Margot cut me off, her voice wavering with emotion. "I came to tell you that I can't be with anybody else except you, Kev."

Her confession left me stunned, unsure of how to respond. I reached out to touch her hand, but she pulled away. "Don't do that," she whispered. "Because I know even after telling you the whole story if things go south, you'll push me away again."

I shook my head, determined to make things right. "I swear that from this point forward, I won't push you away."

With tears glistening in her eyes, Mar searched my face for sincerity. "Promise?" she whispered.

I cupped her face in my hands, meeting her gaze with unwavering determination. "I promise," I vowed before closing the distance between us, pressing my lips against hers in a tender kiss.

During our kiss Mar pleaded in her trembling voice. "Make love to me Kev."

I nodded and pinned her down my couch and my hands moved down to her shorts and unbuttoned them and rolled them down. I moved my body down on the floor bend on my knees and Mar was confused looking at me. I parted her legs and sat my face right between her bare thighs and slid my finger under the confines of her thong and I started moving down her thong also leaving a trail of kisses down her body.

Mar started to flinch, and I love when her body reacts to my actions. I tossed away her thong and I opened her slit with my fingers and plunged my tongue into the folds of her core and her hands buried in my hair and he grabbed my head as she didn't want me to move an inch. I keep stroking her until she cried out loud my name and I swallowed the last drop of her burst out pleasure. When her breath came to normal, I decided to place Mar on the floor but before I could do anything she bend her knees on the floor and sat opposite to me and shoved down my trousers.

This time I pinned her on the floor, and I untie the strap of her bra, and her full plump globes popped out I could not resist to take one in my mouth and one in my hand. Mar moaned and I released her globe because I wanted her to squeeze them by herself, I just love to watch her doing it. I told her and she started doing it. I grabbed her by the waist and start entering my essence into her core and like always Mar resist at first but when my essence gliding through the walls of her core her muscles started to calm and once, I was deep inside her I started rocking my body. I started feeling a building pressure inside me as my muscles started to clench, I saw my sweat dripping at Mar's bare stomach and that triggered my heat, and I roared and emptied my all-euphoric pleasure inside her and collapsed onto her.

I cleaned her and then we both found solace in my bed and drifted off. In the middle of a night, I heard sound coming from my kitchen and Mar was not with me. I climbed out of my bed and found Mar standing in front of my open refrigerator. "Kev, are you serious? You don't have anything that I could eat."

I responded. "I have everything that you can eat; all you need to do is cook it up."

She jolted and turned around. I rested against the doorway and folded my arms.

Mar pointed at fridge. "There is nothing for me to eat."

I asked her. "How about some sandwich?"

I walked over to the refrigerator, take out some vegetables and bread, did some slicing, toasted the bread, toasted the ham, put everything together, and eventually put everything on a plate, made a big fat sandwich, and placed the plate in front of her.

While holding the platter. "Wow, wonderful cooking."

I drank a glass of water, kept the glass on the table, and she sat opposite of me on the same couch. Last, I remember she started eating the sandwich and then I dozed off while waiting for her to finish.
