I woke up to Margot's soft snores almost in my ear. I don't know how, but she has some kind of skills to crawl all four sides of bed in a night. I carefully snuck out of bed and made my way to the kitchen. I make breakfast for her because it's her favorite meal of the day. I put the keys on the counter which I intended to give her last night, but the universe has other plans. The moment I made breakfast and turned around to go into the room and wake Margot up.

She was standing in a doorway, crossing her hands against her chest. "Why the fuck do you never wake up me?"

I tried to control my laugh. "Because I don't to disturb your deep sleep."

Margot scratched her scalp. "I am a light sleeper."

I pressed my lips while thinking about her snores. "Hmm"

Margot walked up to me and pointed at the keys. "Whose keys, are they?"

"They're yours," I replied with a smile.

Margot examined the keys again. "No, they're not mine."

I looked at her, amused. "They're the keys to my house."

Margot looked at the keys and then back at me, clearly surprised.

I explained my proposal. "Since half of your belongings are already at my place and you have half of my shirts, why don't we clear up this confusion and start living together?"

Margot gasped. "Do you actually want me to move in with you?"

I smiled. "I told you we should start love each other unconditionally."

Margot encircled her arms around my neck. "Hey, do you always carry an extra set of keys?"

I laughed and shook my head. "I intended to give you last night."

Margot widened her eyes playfully. "Yesterday I told Blake about seeing you. What would I tell him about this moving in thingy?"

I reassured her with a kiss. "I'm sure he'll be happy for us."

Curious, Margot asked about Dad, "And what about Dane?"

I responded, "Well, we're going to my dad's place tonight."

Margot relaxed and started eating. "Alright."

Between bites, I asked, "Where's Goldie?"

Margot explained, "He is with Mrs. Ryan."

Thinking aloud, I remarked, "Goldie seems like a friendly dog."

Margot shook her head. "No, you couldn't be more wrong. He's only friendly with Blake and Mrs. Ryan. Let's find out if he likes you or not."

With a grin, I responded, "Oh, he's going to love me just like you."

Margot raised her hands in surrender. "Listen, I know you prefer not to have any home assistance at your place, but I can't function without Mrs. Ryan. She manages me better than I manage myself—from my clothes to what I eat, she's outstanding."

I smiled warmly. "Anything you want, Mar."

I was in my car waiting for Margot. "Are you coming?"

Margot responded over the phone, "Yeah, coming in five."

I reminded her, "Also, don't forget to take whatever you need because we're heading back to my place."

"Okay," Margot replied before ending the call.

When Margot got into the car, I was trying to reach Renna on my phone. When Margot climbed in she asked. "Dane?"
