'What the fuck kind of sick joke is this?' Y/N thought to herself as she stared down the pointy end of an orange carrot with a deadly glare as it prodded through the bars of her cage. It waved around as if to entice her to bite into it, while Terrance stood on the other end, chuckling to himself.
"Come on. Carrots are good for bunnies. Aren't you hungry?" Y/N regarded his demeaning attempts at feeding her with a scowl, refusing to take a bite. Giving a hum, Terrance took the carrot away and shrugged. "Alright, but you're going to want to eat something sooner or later. I'll just keep it on the nightstand in case you change your mind." He did just that before getting out of his crouched position and stretched his arms above his head, muttering to himself. "I think I'll take a shower."
"Slip on soap and die," she grumbled as he walked away, grabbing clothes from the dresser before disappearing into the bathroom, closing the door partially behind him, leaving only a little crack so that he could hear her if she tries to bust out of her cage again. Y/N glared at the door until her stomach whined with hunger, then groaned. "Don't you start," she scolded herself, smashing her face against the pillow and gritting her teeth in order to fight back the tears prodding at her eyes. Now isn't the time for crying. She had already done that. Right now, she needed to escape. Her legs tightened up as she sighed with frustration. She needed the bathroom too. Curse bodily needs. Damn them all to Hell... But, wait! That's it!
Opening her eyes, Y/N sat up and felt rejuvenated by the idea that had crossed her mind. She can convince him to let her out to use the bathroom! He would have to eventually, right? The moment she was out, she could run from him. Before she had been caught off-guard by his attack. This time, she would be ready for that. He's weaker, she knew that. He said it himself, that she could overpower him. All she needed was the opportunity, so she waited for the water to stop running, for the door to open and for her kidnapper to step out.
He dried his wet hair with a towel that was draped over his naked shoulders. The black sweatpants he had brought in there with him hung around his hips, tied tightly at the waist with the drawstring. He walked shyly, contrasting the flushed look on his face, as though he wasn't sure if he should hide his boney figure from her gaze or provide more for her to look at. Her eyes were piercing his figure, taking in every rib that pressed up to his skin and the unhealthy curve of his sides. Had the situation been different, maybe she would've held a hand to her mouth in shock, but at the moment, all she could think of was the plan. It was hard to see, nonetheless. She had no idea he had let his body go so far. He had hidden it well beneath his clothes.
