SURVIVING TRIO.
1777, APRIL 10th, SUNDAY8:02 pm.
Noche blinked and Trio was before her – the general had moved so fast that Noche almost didn't catch it. A staff appeared in her hands and was inches from impacting against the blonde's head. Noche teleported twenty feet away with a scratch on her face. Gold blood dripped down her cheek.
"You better teleport me quickly Noche," Trio sang. "It's so cold up here my little pezones could cut diamonds."
"I just need to teleport you once," the blonde smiled. "That shouldn't be so hard."
"Hohoo?"
Trio vanished and was in front of Noche again – her red eyes and yellow pupils shining with glee. Noche's eyes widened, she focused on using Limbo in the spot before her, but Trio was already gone. By the time the flash of gold surrounded by black mist appeared, the general was already behind her.
A punch to the back knocked all the air out of Noche's lungs and sent her flying. Before she got too far, Noche used Limbo to teleport back to the mountaintop and lose all that momentum.
If she was in black knight mode, she would be strong enough to face off against a general. Unfortunately, black knight mode was not something Noche could consciously activate. It sort of just happened when she was under extreme emotional distress.
Trio was already zig zagging her way towards the blonde; plumes of smoke rose behind each step. Noche attempted to teleport Trio again and again, but the general was too fast. Her eyes couldn't keep up with the speed the crazy woman was moving at.
Noche slammed into the ground as Trio tackled her. She regained her footing and created a wall of water between herself and the general. With the split second that bought her Noche summoned her Omni-Oar via Limbo. However, Trio had jumped through the barrier and was charging straight towards her.
The general did a flip over Noche's swing, landed behind her, and spun with the staff. Noche blocked by blunting her blade and the impact scattered all the snow around them.
Trio was putting some serious strength into her blows and the only reason the shockwaves weren't ripping the mountain apart was because she was smothering them with her own drive energy.
The blonde teleported back and used the distance to attempt to teleport the general, but the insane woman had even more insane speed. She covered the gap between them once again. Noche was prepared for this though, she swung, and Trio matched the swing like a mirror image.
Staff met sword and the impact caused an explosion of thunder. Noche unleashed a flurry of blows and Trio mimicked each one like a reflection. After fighting so many clones of herself, it wasn't too unnerving. Still, for someone to have such physical control over their attacks that they could copy her like this was difficult to believe.
Trio was toying with her. Even with the ability to teleport, even with corruption, even having augment half as strong, Noche was being toyed with. Her left eye twitched as she processed the thought. If she was still struggling to fight a general, then how could she defeat Creeps?
Trio landed a kick in Noche's stomach and sent the blonde flying into the snow. There was an explosion of white in all directions as she impacted against the ground.
"Come on Noche, I know that's not the best you can do," Trio said. "I mean, I know I'm basically a divination wizard, but you are like a pal-lock. You should have some oomph behind your blows."
