Mrs. Leclerc left to Nice 2 hours ago to visit one of her friends. I finished the skulls the day after my off day , I was proud of myself. Amanda even placed a face on all of them. Now Amanda and i are in her office preparing to watch the race on her massive screen. I asked to have this Sunday off and Mr. Goldman agreed that he wanted to spend the day with his family.
They showed how Charles was getting ready for the race , as the camera zoomed in I saw the moon bracelet on his wrist. "You have the same one" Amanda spoke up pointing to the screen then to my wrist. "If I press it his will buzz 3 times, I want to get his reaction hold on" i explained and got my phone out to factime Nina. She picked up instantly. "Hey , I want to show Amanda something can you flip the camera to Charles" I asked and she nodded confused but flipped it.
I pressed my bracelet and he froze in place. He looked at his wrist and a huge smile made its way onto his face. He pressed his bracelet and mine vibrated too. I explained it to Nina who just laughed and ended the call."That is so adorable." Amanda awed as we sat back into the couch. "I always buzz his before a race to let him know that I'm watching." I nodded with a small smile.We got food delivered to the lab and Dr. Edison and Dr. Sanjay were very interested in what we were doing. "We're watching the race. You can join if you want to just close the door" I offered and both of them came inside and closed the door.
The race soon started and Charles was in 2nd so far. " he has a better pace than the others " i spoke up as I watched him get fastest lap.As he got onto the straight George wanted to pass him making me jump up. "Defend Charlie , he's on your ass" i yelled holding my hands on my head. He got close to Max and in a blink of an eye his car shook violently and he hit the barrier at full speed before he slid across hiting the opposite barrier, he was in the middle of the track."Red flag , red flag" i yelled seeing nothing about a warning.George came flying around the corner and hit Charles on the left side right where he was sitting. Sending them both sliding down the track a few meters more. A gasp left my mouth as my hands covered my mouth. George got out of the car and hurried to what's left of the Ferrari
"His head" i yelled as I saw how his head was hanging.It all happened in slow motion for me.I felt a hand on my shoulder as I started crying. Please be okay , please just be okay.
