Luan Leclerc takes pole position.
I cheered jumping up and down as the presenter blared through the speakers. My heart was so full of pride it could explode. I looked over at Charles who looked proud to , I hugged him tightly and teared up. I pulled him to where Luan was getting out of his cart. When I reached him I picked my 5 year old up and gave him multiple kisses. "Im so proud of you mon ange , so so proud of you" I sniffled making him laugh and give me a kiss back. Charles took him and huggled him tightly before he threw him up and catched him. Luan sat on his papa's shoulders for a photo.
I took a photo of Luan standing next to his LN kart and sent it to Lando. Luan had to do an interview with made me stare in awe. I felt Charles's hand on my lower back and I let a breath out. "Out future world champion" I mumbled when Charles kissed the side of my head.
When he was done with everything he needed to do. I'm glad that we're raising him right that he needs to prioritize his career before anything else. He chose to be like his Papa and if he ever changes his mind to pursue something else I wouldn't mind.
"I think this calls for some celebration icecream?" I suggested when he came back. His eyes went wide with excitement and nodded rapidly. "Lets go then" i took his hand and we walked to our car. I helped him into the backseat before I got into the passenger side."Mommy , who will be at tomorrow?" Luan asked from behind , when i looked back at him I saw him clicking his seatbelt in."As far as I know is uncle Arthur , uncle Lorenzo , uncle Lando , uncle Max , Uncle Pierre and Auntie Kika " I listed off making him smile. "Auntie Nini?" He asked and i laughed under my breath and nodded.
We drove to the icecream shop , I got out and waited for the boys. We entered the shop and ordered our icecreams. They got a table while i waited for our orders. "Excuse me , Tenisha can i please get a picture with you?" A girl asked behind me making me turn. "Of course " I smiled for a selfie and she thanked me. "Congrats on Luan's pole position" she added so I gave her a hug."thank you , we're very proud of him" I replied as she said goodbye. I got our orders and walked to our table where I heard them talking about the qualifying. "When we do the track walk I'll show you" Charles reassured when i sat down. "Ice cream is served "i spoke up handing them the icecream
"Do you think I'm going to win mommy?" Luan asked making me smile. "We don't think we know you will win Lu , enjoy your icecream and we'll think of racing tomorrow again okay?" I reassured and he nodded.
"Can Odis come too , pleassee?" Luan asked making puppy eyes to his dad. I really dont know if a chameleon will like to watch a go kart race. "Unfortunately not buddy , there will be to many people there " Charles explained as he placed his hand on his son's shoulder. "Okay , I will show him the photos" Luan shrugged and carried on eating his icecream. He has never thrown a temper tantrum to get his way. I love it so much.

Next day
My sundress waved in the wind a long with my hair. Luan was skipping next to his uncle Lando. Charles gave my hand a small squeeze making me smile. "I've been dreaming of this for so long" he admitted kissing my temple. Both of us waved at a camera guy and took photos with fans.
