3rd person POV (Yeosang):
After silently scolding Seonghwa for dragging him into the conversation, Yeosang felt guilty for invading Jongho's privacy. He wanted to make it up to him, so when Hongjoong emerged from Jongho's room, Yeosang approached him. "Hey, um, Hongjoong, do you know Jongho's favorite snack and drink? I want to apologize." Hongjoong smiled and said, "Yeah, I'll write it down. And tell Seonghwa that he better run when I get back to the dorms." Yeosang looked a bit taken aback, "Uh, okay, thank you." After thanking him, Yeosang hurried to the campus store to buy snacks and drinks for Jongho and himself. He hoped Jongho would forgive him for invading his privacy.
After returning to the dorm, he placed the drink in the fridge along with a post-it note that read 'I'm sorry for yesterday, there's a snack for you in the cupboard.' Yeosang grabbed his own drink and went to his room to text Seonghwa, 'Hwa, Hongjoong asked me to tell you that you'll have to run when he gets back to the dorms.' He sent the message and set his phone down. Taking a sip from his drink, he got up as his alarm went off. Yeosang couldn't get any sleep, so he packed his bag and decided to take a stroll around the campus.
Yunho was strolling through the halls when Yeosang called out to him, "Yunho!" Yunho turned around and greeted Yeosang, "Hey, how's your new roommate?" Yeosang caught up to him and replied, "He's a bit mysterious, but I think he's still adjusting. He lost his parents, but he has great friends." Yeosang smiled, "Just like you guys, my amazing friends." Yeosang then asked about Mingi, to which Yunho burst out laughing, "He's hot! I mean, seriously hot. He walked shirtless yesterday, and I almost fainted!" Yunho couldn't contain his excitement, "I DON'T KNOW HOW HE'S SO COMFORTABLE ALREADY, BUT I'M LOVING IT!" Yeosang cringed at Yunho's enthusiasm and jokingly said, "Ew, spare me the details, you sex-deprived bitch!"
Yunho and Yeosang strolled around campus until it was time for their very first class in Jady. They bid farewell, and Yeosang made his way to potions, his first class. Upon entering, he greeted Mister Kim and found his assigned seat as indicated on the board. To his dismay, he realized he had to sit next to Jongho, his roommate. "Thanks for the drink and snacks, they're my favorite. How did you know?" Jongho asked with a chuckle. "I asked your friend. I felt bad for snooping around like that," Yeosang replied with a guilty smile. "Eyes up here, boys," Mister Kim interrupted before Jongho could say anything. "Let's get started with the lesson," Mister Kim announced, kicking off the class.
Yeosang's phone began to ring out of the blue, of course, luck wasn't on his side. "Whose phone is that?" Mister Kim asked sternly. Suddenly, a voice came from behind Yeosang, "Oh, it's mine," Hongjoong said before exiting the classroom. This gave Yeosang enough time to silence his phone. He mouthed the words "Thank you" to Hongjoong before he left.
'Sure. Let's keep going.' Mister Kim said with an irritated tone, 'they don't seem to get along' Yeosang murmured to Jongho
'I'm telling you, they really don't' Jongho whispered in response before focusing back on the board.
3rd person POV(Jongho):
After potions class ended, Jongho said his goodbyes to Yeosang. He appreciated that Yeosang took the time to apologize for what happened yesterday. As Jongho made his way to his next class, which happened to be math, he came across Mingi who looked like he had a rough night. "Ming, did you drink again?" Jongho asked, concern evident on his face. "Mhh, me and my new roommate played 20 questions but with a twist, so yeah, I did drink. But don't worry, Jongho, I'm okay," Mingi replied. "My head feels like it's about to explode, though. Do you have a painkiller or something?" Mingi added. "Yeah, here, have one," Jongho handed him a painkiller. They realized that they both had math class at the same time, so they decided to go together.
After their math class, Mingi and Jongho had some free time before lunch, so they made their way to Jongho's dorm to have some fun playing games. "Which game should we start with?" Mingi asked eagerly as they entered the dorm. Jongho, with a mischievous smirk, replied, "Hmm, how about Mario Kart?" He knew that Mingi always struggled in that game. "Challenge accepted!" Mingi declared, grabbing a controller. After three intense rounds, Mingi was on the verge of giving up, but then... he emerged victorious! "OH MY GOD, I ACTUALLY WON!" Mingi exclaimed, unable to contain his excitement. Jongho couldn't help but laugh at his friend's ecstatic reaction.
The door swung open and Yeosang jumped, clearly startled. "Oh, it's just you guys," he said, relieved. He plopped down on the bean bag next to his small music collection. "So, do you have a free period too?" Mingi asked, chuckling. Yeosang nodded, flipping through his box of CDs. He muttered something to himself, and Jongho caught on. "Seonghwa makes music?" Jongho asked, confused. "Yeah, my friend Seonghwa, the one from yesterday, makes music with some producer we don't know, but they sound really great," Yeosang said excitedly. "Ooh, play something for us," Mingi said, before going back to his phone game, waiting for Jongho to join him in the Mario Kart game.
After playing another round of Mario Kart, it was time for lunch. The three of them walked towards the cafeteria, with Yeosang going to sit with his own friends. 'He seems nice and really good-looking, right? Hold up, he's friends with Yunho?!' Mingi exclaimed loudly, causing all eyes to turn towards them. 'Shh, you're being too loud,' Jongho said, feeling embarrassed. 'Why didn't you tell me, oh my goodness,' Mingi continued. 'Maybe because I had no idea who Yunho was, let alone that Yeosang was friends with him,' Jongho replied, playfully hitting Mingi's shoulder. 'You're so dumb,' Jongho added before taking a seat at their lunch table.
Jongho, San, and Mingi were chatting, but Jongho realized that Hongjoong seemed distracted. When he followed Hongjoong's gaze, he saw that he was staring at Yeosang's table, specifically at Seonghwa. "Hey, loverboy, snap out of it," Jongho said, waving his hand in front of Hongjoong's face. "Oh, sorry, did you say something?" Hongjoong asked. "Nothing important, hyung," Jongho replied with a smile, before returning to the conversation with the others.
Jongho was sitting at the table when a girl approached him. "Hey handsome, why are you sitting with that fag?" she asked, pointing at Hongjoong. Without wasting a second, Hongjoong quickly stood up and walked away trying to avoid all the glares, with Seonghwa right behind him after hearing her comment.
Jongho got upset and replied, "Who do you think you are talking to him like that? He's one of my closest friends!"
"Oh, me? I'm Kang Soo-Jin," she chuckled. Jongho could tell that this wasn't the last they'd see of her as she left. The other three at the table, including Jongho, stood up to search for Hongjoong.
