3rd person POV (ATEEZ):

After the knife incident, the group decided to get some fighting lessons, and Seonghwa found the best instructor around. It wasn't exactly cheap, but everyone was giving it their all, even though they kept struggling. "Man, we're never gonna get the hang of this," Wooyoung grumbled as he watched Seonghwa take his turn. Seonghwa was actually doing better than the rest of them, and before they knew it, he managed to beat the teacher. The whole group jumped up, cheering for him, but the teacher seized the moment and took Seonghwa down. "Always make sure your opponent is out for the count, or this is what happens," the teacher said, letting Seonghwa back up. Lying on the floor, Seonghwa felt defeated. "Alright, class is done. You know what to work on, so go rest up," the teacher announced. He might come off as tough, but deep down, he really cares.

"Man, today really took it out of me," Mingi groaned as he flopped down on the couch. "I totally feel you," Yunho replied, gently lifting Mingi's head and settling down with it resting on his lap. "At least we're making progress," Jongho chimed in while munching on an apple. "Sure, sure, an apple a day keeps the doctor away," Wooyoung teased as he plopped down next to them. "Do you think they'd let us have a house on campus for all of us?" San wondered aloud. "I could ask if you want," Hongjoong offered. "Yeah, that sounds safer—better to stick together than be alone," Seonghwa added. Meanwhile, Yeosang was lost in thought, gazing out the window. "Yeo? You with us?" Jongho asked, trying to snap him back. "Oh, right! Yeah, I'm cool with moving," Yeosang replied, then turned back to the view. Seonghwa shot Jongho a puzzled look, and Jongho just shrugged.

They were definitely pumped about moving in together, so they started working on their roommate arrangement. The only place they could find had four rooms, which meant they'd need to pair up in each one. It was pretty clear who wanted to share with whom, so they made quick decisions. "Hey guys, just a heads up, the principal might not be on board with this," Hongjoong said, kind of raining on their parade. "Well, what are you waiting for? Go ask!" Wooyoung urged, giving Hongjoong a little shove out the door. "Woo," Seonghwa said, raising an eyebrow at him. "My bad," Wooyoung replied with a playful pout before plopping back down. While Hongjoong went off to talk to the principal, the others were busy brainstorming their room themes. "Yeo, you seem a bit off today," Jongho noted, eyeing Yeosang. "I'm just a little worried, but it's nothing to stress about," Yeosang said with a soft smile, though Jongho couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to it.

3rd person POV (Yeosang):

Lately, Yeosang's mind has been all over the place, almost like someone else was pulling the strings on his thoughts. He really wanted to support his friends and join in on practice, so he showed up, but it just felt off. Deep down, Yeosang couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong and that he probably shouldn't have gone through with it.

The break room was buzzing with chatter, and no one noticed when Yeosang quietly slipped out. He just needed a moment to breathe and sort through his thoughts. As he made his way to the beach, sinking his feet into the warm sand, he gazed into the distance, trying to tune everything else out. "Hey there," a voice interrupted his solitude. "Oh, hey Jongho! I didn't think you'd catch me sneaking out," Yeosang admitted with a sigh. "It's all good, you don't have to talk if you don't want to. Just do your thing," Jongho replied. It was like he had a knack for knowing when Yeosang needed a little space.

Yeosang felt his thoughts slip away as he stared blankly, prompting Jongho to glance over. "Hm?" he murmured, curious. Yeosang's gaze met Jongho's, and suddenly, all his words vanished. "I—never mind," he finally said, turning his attention back to the ocean. In a bold move, Jongho gently grasped Yeosang's chin, guiding his face to meet his own. Time seemed to freeze as they locked eyes, lost in their own world. Then, with a tender motion, Yeosang leaned in and pressed his lips against Jongho's. Jongho was taken aback at first, but soon melted into the moment. The kiss was intoxicatingly sweet, but as Yeosang pulled away, reality hit him hard. "Oh god, I'm so sorry," he exclaimed before sprinting toward the sea, swimming away from Jongho and everything that had just happened.

When Yeosang stopped swimming, he found himself really far from the shore. He felt a bit foolish and out of his mind for kissing Jongho, especially since his dad always insisted that boys shouldn't have feelings for other boys. Yeosang didn't care much about that, but now that he liked a guy, it felt completely off. To ease his mind, he did what he always did while swimming—looked for seashells in the sandy depths. As he resurfaced, he noticed the sun dipping below the horizon and decided to take his time swimming back. He wasn't ready to return to the dorm or anyone else's place, so he made his way home to his mom, who looked concerned when he unexpectedly walked in. Yeosang ignored her worried questions and headed straight to his room, collapsing onto his bed. He finally let all his emotions out. Tears flowed freely, and he felt like he was suffocating. His mom, not knowing how to help, stood outside his door, trying to reach him. "Sweetheart, I'll be in the living room if you need anything. By the way, Wooyoung is here," she said after an hour of trying to get him to talk

"Mom, can you send him away?" Yeosang managed to say. "I'll do my best," his mom replied, all she wants is for Yeosang to be happy. If sending Wooyoung away would make him happy, then that's exactly what she'd do.

The last thing he wanted was for Wooyoung to find out he had kissed his roommate.
