3rd person POV (Yeosang):
Yeosang treasured the brooch Jongho gave him as if his life depended on it, a whole week had passed and not a single speck of dirt could be found on it. The brooch held a special place in Yeosang's heart, he found it absolutely stunning.
"So, like, you're telling me, JONGHO THE CHOI JONGHO. gave you his mother's bestfriend's brooch?' Wooyoung practically yelled. 'Yes, he did he said it matched my necklace' Yeosang blurted out, feeling a bit embarrassed. 'Anyway, I know you don't like talking about this topic, so let's change the subject. I have some gossip.' Wooyoung said with a laugh, 'Come on, spill it, what is it' Yeosang asked eagerly, 'You know how Yunho had this online friend, well, turns out IT'S SONG MINGI HIS LITERAL ROOMMATE' Wooyoung revealed to Yeosang, 'NO WAY THE GUY HE'S BEEN TALKING ABOUT FOR SO LONG, IS HIS ROOMMATE?' Yeosang exclaimed. 'I know, right? It's insane' Wooyoung said dramatically.
"Nah, I reckon Colin will handle it well when Pen tells him she's Lady Whistledown. Wooyoung mentioned, "Colin literally said he'd kill her if he found out who she was, so he's definitely gonna be angry." Yeosang rolled his eyes and replied, "I hope Eloise and Pen can mend their friendship though." Wooyoung pretended to sob and added, "They're like us in a parallel universe, they'll be fine for sure." Yeosang playfully slapped Wooyoung's shoulder. Wooyoung got up and said, "Alright, I gotta go back too. Sannie's cooking tonight and I need to keep an eye on it. Love you, Sangieeee." Wooyoung hugged Yeosang and left his dorm.
Yeosang found himself alone in the dorm once again, as Jongho had been going out frequently, making it seem like he was intentionally avoiding him. "I think I'll practice the choreo from dance class," Yeosang muttered to himself. He turned on the music and completely immersed himself in it, feeling as though he and the music were one. When the song finally ended, Yeosang was left breathless. Suddenly, he heard clapping coming from behind him. He turned around to find Jongho and Hongjoong standing there. "Oh, thank you," Yeosang stammered, feeling flustered by the unexpected attention. "You're doing the same dance as Seonghwa. I wonder where he learned it from, it must be from you," Hongjoong remarked as he walked in and sat on the couch. "Actually, he's in the same dance class as me, along with Wooyoung and Yunho," Yeosang replied with a smile. "Wow, he never mentioned that to me," Hongjoong said, closing his eyes and leaning his head back.
Jongho reassured Yeosang, "Don't worry about him, he's just lacking sleep." He chuckled and gave Yeosang's shoulder a pat before heading to the kitchen. "Hey Jongho, can I talk to you about something?" Yeosang asked hesitantly. Jongho turned back to Yeosang, "Of course, what's on your mind?" Yeosang hesitated, "Oh, it's nothing. I just noticed something in your hair." It wasn't what he originally wanted to say, but it's what he said. "Oh, can you get it out for me?" Jongho requested. Yeosang leaned in closer and removed a small plush from Jongho's hair.
Yeosang and Jongho's gazes met, and in that moment, time seemed to stand still once more.
3rd person POV (Jongho):
Jongho tried to steer clear of Yeosang after handing him the brooch, feeling uneasy and overanalyzing the situation. Since San and Mingi were busy, he opted to visit Hongjoong instead, catch up on the Seongjoong drama, and just chill together.
Jongho gave a light knock on the dorm door, and Hongjoong welcomed him inside with a smile. Curiosity burning inside him, Jongho couldn't help but ask about Seonghwa. Hongjoong chuckled awkwardly and shared that they had managed to patch things up after a lot of arguing and begging for forgiveness. "So, everything's good now?" Jongho inquired. Hongjoong nodded, a mischievous glint in his eyes. Hongjoong then revealed that his dad had been kicked off the school board and might even get fired. Jongho couldn't help but smirk, "About time that jerk got what he deserved." Hongjoong then mentioned that Bumjoong had finally left the house and was now living with Maddox. Jongho patted his friend's back and remarked, "It's high time all of you got some therapy. You guys need it."
Suddenly, the door to the dorm swung open. "No, Wooyoung, I didn't sleep with that guy at the party! What do you think I am, a slut?" Seonghwa scolded Wooyoung. "Listen up, you little brat. If you don't stop, I'll spill the shit you hide to Sannie. Got it?" Seonghwa threatened before hanging up the phone. "Oh hey, Jongho and Joong," Seonghwa greeted the two boys, carrying the groceries into the kitchen. "What were you guys talking about?" Seonghwa asked, joining them on the couch. "We were discussing the Kim family needing therapy," Jongho replied, earning a smack from Hongjoong. "Oh, Joong, you should give therapy a try. It helped me with... well, you know," Seonghwa said, desperately searching for something to focus on. "Hmm, yeah, I suppose I'll give it a shot," Hongjoong said, placing a calming hand on Seonghwa's thigh.
Jongho told Seonghwa that he and Hongjoong were heading to his place to game, so they had to leave. After saying their goodbyes, they left the dorm. Inside, they found Yeosang dancing to the music. When Yeosang finished, both Hongjoong and Jongho clapped.
Hongjoong plopped down onto the couch, sinking into the cushions as he rested his head against the headrest and closed his eyes. Yeosang glanced at Jongho with concern, assuring him, "Don't worry about him, he just needs some sleep." Jongho patted Yeosang's shoulder, giving him a reassuring smile before making his way to the kitchen. Suddenly, Yeosang called out to Jongho, catching his attention. Jongho turned around, asking, "Sure, what's on your mind?" Yeosang struggled to find the right words, and Jongho could tell. "Oh, it's nothing. I just noticed something in your hair," Yeosang said, clearly not meaning to say that. Even Jongho knew it. "Oh, can you get it out for me?" Jongho asked, as Yeosang moved closer and removed the object from his hair.
Jongho couldn't tear his gaze away as their eyes met, captivated by the intensity in Yeosang's eyes. He longed to kiss him desperately, feeling an overwhelming desire.
