3rd person POV (Jongsang):
Jongho and Yeosang have been acting reserved since receiving the note a week ago. Their friends are starting to question their distance and are concerned about their well-being. Despite the inquiries, Jongho and Yeosang are choosing to keep the note to themselves, not wanting to drag anyone else into the situation.
Yeosang glanced back as Jongho approached him, "Any updates?" Jongho inquired, scanning the area for their friends. "Nope, nothing. Probably just a stupid prank, Jjong," Yeosang replied, heading towards their dorm. "Hmm, maybe," Jongho mused, trailing behind Yeosang. "Or maybe not. What the heck is this?" Yeosang exclaimed, noticing the red liquid splattered everywhere in their dorm. "What the hell," Jongho echoed, surveying the scene. Suddenly, Jongho noticed the ominous message on the wall, "This is just the beginning, Kang." "Yeosang, check out that writing on the wall," Jongho pointed out. "Oh my god," Yeosang gasped, stumbling back, with Jongho steadying him.
Yeosang looked at Jongho with worry in his eyes, "We need to inform someone, quick." Jongho reassured him, "Don't worry, I'll call Hongjoong and Seonghwa. Just stay here, everything will be fine." He then dialed their numbers on his phone.
They arrived at the dorm in no time. "Well, it's just paint, so no blood. I called everyone to check if they're okay without making it seem like something was wrong," Hongjoong mentioned before putting his phone away. "Thanks, Hongjoong hyung. Can we maybe stay at your guys' dorm tonight?" Jongho inquired, with Yeosang standing next to him, clinging onto him. "Of course, if it's alright with you, pretty-" Hongjoong's sentence was cut off by Seonghwa stepping on his foot. "Of course," Seonghwa confirmed. Jongho and Yeosang grabbed some clothes and toiletries, then followed the bickering couple, Seonghwa and Hongjoong.
Hongjoong smiled and said, "Can you guys share the couch?" Jongho agreed, "Yes, we can share. Thank you and goodnight." He settled on the couch, trying to get comfortable. "Yeo, come here," Jongho gestured for Yeosang to join him. Yeosang walked over and laid down. "Jongho?" Yeosang whispered. "Yes?" Jongho responded. "I'm scared, can you hold me?" Yeosang asked timidly. Jongho looked at Yeosang and said, "Of course, come here." He opened his arms, and Yeosang moved closer.
'Thank you for everything you do for me Jongho' Yeosang thanked Jongho for always being there for him, for supporting him through the tough times and for being a true friend. Yeosang felt grateful to have someone like Jongho in his life, someone who understood him and stood by him no matter what. As he drifted off to sleep, he felt a sense of peace and contentment knowing that he had such a loyal and caring friend in Jongho.
Jongho pulled him in tighter, "It's okay, I'm not going anywhere. I'll always be here for you," Jongho murmured. Exhausted, Jongho also fell asleep.
3rd person POV (SeongJoong):
Seonghwa scolded Hongjoong for calling him pretty in front of their friends, "Is that all you care about right now? Our friends might get killed." Hongjoong responded with a hint of sass, "Of course that's not the only thing. God, I want to find that monster as fast as possible." Seonghwa replied while putting on his night skin care, "Don't worry, I'll make sure they're safe. They'll be fine." Hongjoong hugged Seonghwa from behind and said, "I'll make sure they're safe, pretty."
Seonghwa got up and said, "I'll go check on them." Hongjoong quickly added, "Wait for me!" as he almost stumbled while getting up. Seonghwa opened the door and peeked into the living room, "Joong, come look at them," he said excitedly. "Oh my god, they're adorable. How long do you think it'll take before they start dating?" Hongjoong asked. "How dare you say that, 2 months," Seonghwa replied dryly. "Nah, I say 3 months," Hongjoong countered. "How much you betting darling?" Seonghwa teased. "Hm, I'll buy you that ring if you win. If I win, you're gonna wear that outfit I wanted you to wear for Halloween," Hongjoong proposed, holding out his hand. "Deal," Seonghwa agreed as they shook hands and walked back to their room.
Hongjoong turned to Seonghwa and inquired, "Have you noticed how close Wooyoung and San have been lately?" Seonghwa simply shrugged and suggested, "Maybe they're just getting along better." Hongjoong raised an eyebrow and questioned, "Do you think there's something more going on?" Seonghwa responded with a noncommittal, "Who knows, maybe." Seonghwa then laid down on the bed. "I doubt it," Hongjoong remarked as he joined Seonghwa, "By the way, you look stunning right now." Seonghwa chuckled, "No way, we had sex yesterday, remember? We went on for hours, absolutely not." "Okay, fine, you're still beautiful," Hongjoong playfully said as he put on his sleeping mask.
Seonghwa asked Hongjoong if he heard that noise coming from the living room. Hongjoong, taking off his mask, asked if Seonghwa wanted him to check. Seonghwa replied with a "Yeah, please." Hongjoong stood up, walked to the door, and peeked through it. "Oh well, uhm, how do I say that," Hongjoong chuckled. Seonghwa, curious, asked, "What?" Hongjoong replied, "They fell out of the couch," then walked back to the bed still laughing. "Oh god, I thought someone broke in," Seonghwa said before joining Hongjoong in laughing.
Hongjoong asked Seonghwa how long he and Yeosang had been friends, and Seonghwa replied, "We've been friends since I was 6 and he was 5, growing up together." Smiling at the fond memories, Hongjoong added, "Just like me and Jongho, except I was 8 and he was 6." Hongjoong also smiled and said, "I consider him my little brother, you know." Turning to Seonghwa, Seonghwa responded, "Just like I see Yeosang as my little brother." Seonghwa returned the smile. "Well, goodnight, pretty," Hongjoong said before turning on his side and closing his eyes. "Goodnight, Joongie," Seonghwa replied before also closing his eyes and drifting off to sleep.
'Stay safe pretty' Hongjoong said before drifting off to sleep.
