You woke up to a sensation of a terrible headache that was stabbing the side of your head. You felt suction cups on all parts of your forehead, you do a little moan, now seeing the bright light encountering in your now open eyes. "Donnie she's awake." You heard Leo say not far away from you. You were about to turn your head to see where Leo was but that caused horrible aching pain, which made you moan again. "Y/N are you ok ?
How are you feeling?" Donnie asked concerned. Donnie came closer and was now looking down by your face but he was blurry though doe to the light shining in your eyes . "Bright light" you whispered. Donnie then blinked in realization he still was shining the bright light in your eyes. " oh sorry." He said then turned it off. "Is she dying?" Mikey asked. Donnie sighed " no but I can imagine she is in excruciating pain, that's probably why she is having a hard time talking.

" why did Irma say powers?" You whispered. Your pain was slowly going away. April then starts talking. "While you were asleep Donnie and I have been running tests on you, your blood test show that you are kinda like me but your blood was more of a stronger mix then mine if that makes sense." You just gave her a confused look, "stronger mix then yours?" You asked "yes but we have no idea how to turn on your powers and what kind of powers you have, probably powers like mine though." All the sudden your pain from your head just vanished, you sat up from your spot and looked around. You were in Donnie's lab.

Everyone left after a few minuets when Donnie told them he was gonna run some tests with you, April was gonna stay but Casey dragged her with him. "Ok Y/N I'm gonna put that machine on you, the one from last time. " you nodded your head. "I want you to tell me what you see" you then saw Donnie fading out.

Now you were in a room. It was Mikey's room, you look behind you to see Donnie, he then put his hand against your cheek, and put his face closer to yours. You on the other hand became a blushing mess. "Activated when you are in distress" Donnie whispered then all the sudden it ended and you were back in the lab.

"Did you see anything?" Donnie asked curious looking at your blushing face. Of course your weren't gonna tell him about everything that you saw. " you were there and you told me, activated when you are in distress." Donnie thought for a minute "maybe that means your powers work when you are in top distress." That made more sense to you. Now noticing that Donnie and you were kind in a way, hanging out You wanted to spend more time with Donnie since you hardly had any alone time with him. Donnie felt a rumbling sensation on his shell, he reached back onto his shell and pulled out his tphone.
"Who texted you?" You asked in curiosity. "Oh u-uh no one, just a-April making sure everything is ok. She said Casey won't let her leave his side so she just texted to see how things were going." Donnie said rubbing the back of his neck.

"So anyway, would you like to go for a walk with me?
It's a nice night out so why not?" Donnie asked nicely giving you a friendly smile.

Was the purple masked turtle really asking you go take a walk with JUST him!? Is he maybe starting to like you back!? No, maybe he was gonna go with April but Casey won't leave her alone and Donnie isn't in the mood to fight. Ya that's it! You thought to yourself.

You and Donnie were now outside in the fresh night air. Just having a peaceful walk, that you clearly were enjoying too much.

" The sky sure is beautiful out tonight." You said looking up at the sky full of brightly gleaming stars. Donnie first looked into your eyes seeing the stars reflect gorgeously in your eyes, then takes a look at the sky himself, then it was your turn to look into his eyes, his chocolate red eyes had the little twinkles of stars reflecting in it that it was like a masterpiece exploded in his eyes .

Swoon by his eyes your started blushing a little, also looking down to hide your blush. "Ya, it is beautiful although, the stars are probably a lot of days old and it's just the light waves from the stars reflecting from where they were but it still lights up the night." Donnie said. Wow he was talking all geeky but this time you understood it.

Donnie was just so handsome and intelligent in your eyes you didn't wanna take your eyes off of him!

You ended up at the park. He started pushing you on the swings. "Higher!!!!" You yelled like a little kid, but honestly everyone is still a kid at heart. ( ok I'm sorry I keep reading lloyd x reader stories for ninjago and won't stop thinking of that quote XD) Donnie chuckled and pushed you higher. "HIGHER!" You yelled again. "I can't push you higher or else I might wrap you around the top bar of the swing set." He chuckled and you let out a giggle. He sat on the swing right next to you and you guys started a game of truth or dare, which mostly ended up being a game of truth or truth.

"So are you and April a thing?" You asked getting ready to hear the worst. " well I don't know, she's very complicated. One minute she's being super nice and even kisses me. Then the next minute she acts like nothing happened, then starts flirting with Jones!"

Oh we have a bad case of a player girl. where the girl plays with a boy's emotions.

you started thinking to yourself. " I guess she is the plays hard to get type, she wants you to chase after her, but since your so blind head over heels with her and confused, she manages to flirt with other guys." You said acting like this is a normal conversation.

"The way you put it April sounds rude and unkind, besides she doesn't do that."
Donnie's facial expression sunk, so did his heart. "It just seems Like that because of her stubborn and determined personality." He said, his heart still down to the ground but trying to come up with a logical explanation.
"Whatever you say Donnie, but don't let her get you down, don't forget sometimes your friends know what's best for you then what you think is best." You were trying to hint to him that you didn't want him to be with her, love her. " what do you mean?" Donnie asked confused.
He may be smart but when it comes to something with April, he instantly isn't the best thinker. "Never mind, but Donnie just know if you ever need advice or anything I am here for you, and keeping me updated with what's happening with you and April wouldn't hurt ether." You give him loving smile, you really did care for the purple masked turtle a lot. Donnie then connected his gaze looking into your eyes giving a pleased smile. "Thanks Y/N, that means a lot." He said heart warming facial expression. Showing he was touched by what you said. ( Btw I do like April just the way I put her in my story kinda sound like I don't but she kinda does act like what i said but then again she doesn't so please don't take this seriously, I only did it for the story.
