Tea and bonding

Everyone was gathered around the tv. It was movie night, You guys decided to watch anime. So it wasn't really a movie night it was more like a watching tv series night. You sat by Leo and Raph while Donnie and Casey squished April in the middle of them, both of them, of course trying to make moves to romance April. One part of the anime all three Donnie, Leo and Mikey spoke fluent Japanese repeating what the character said.

It was actaully kinda hot when you heard Donnie talking in the different language so fluently his voice was so soft yet rough when talking in Japanese.

You were so deep in thought you had no idea you were staring at Donnie lovingly.

The only reason you snapped out of it was because Casey started talking. "Whoa how many times have you guys watched this anime?" He asked the question you would've asked if you weren't so distracted. "Oh when we were little splinter had us learn English and the language he had from where he grew up." Mikey answered not even daring to move his eyes away from the tv.

You were sitting on the couch looking at your brand new phone you bought that Donnie put a emergency turtle alarm in. Which allowed you to be able to go back to the surface more often, you even started attending school again, thankfully you weren't gone as much so you didn't have to repeat your grade but you have a ton of homework. Which reminded you of a (Your worst subject) you needed help with but you didn't know how to ask Donnie when April was around. You didn't want April to start tutoring you, because you wanted to have some alone time with donnie. "Hey Donnie?" You asked. He then turned around from talking to April and looked at you. "What's up Y/N?" You then started fettling with your fingers and looked down.

"Could I please work on my homework in your lab? My room doesn't have a desk in it."

His facial expression softens. "Sure but don't touch any of my inventions, I worked really hard on them." He was now serious, then again you weren't April so it's not like he was gonna tell you nicely.

"Thank you Donnie!" You said satisfied with the fact that he even let you go into his lab to work. " hey what subject is it?" April asked." (Worst subject) " you told April. "Oh aren't you having trouble with it like Casey ?" She started smirking, was she mocking me !? You thought.

"Oh ya but, um it's no biggie, I can do it. You started stuttering, GREAT!.

"Donnie you should go help her with the homework." April said having an even more wider smirk than earlier. Donnie then hesitated for a moment while looking at April. He must've not wanted to leave April. Guilt started to overcome you, Donnie didn't wanna leave April to help you, because he wanted to spend more time with her.

"Really I'm fine, thank you for offering though." You gave a week smile then walked into the lab to start your homework.

~April's pov~

I am sitting on the couch talking to Donnie about maybe having him poke me for more blood samples, but I'm hardly paying attention to what he's saying because I feel bad for how he treated Y/N I mean I know I don't like her that much because of my vision but Donnie just treated her like chop liver. She must've been heart broken. I mean Donnie is mine but If I want my secrete plan to work I gotta get Donnie to be a little bit more nicer to her, for now.

~back to you~

You were starring at your paper stuck on a question, it was stressing you out, but what mostly stressed you out was how Donnie acted so sad when he had to spend time with you instead of April. His beautiful chocolate eyes and handsome smile was all April's, he didn't like you no matter how nice you were to him, no matter what advice you could give him he would like April. A single tear shed down your cheek staining the paper you were doing your homework on. You then heard the door opening, you looked over to see it was master Splinter.

"Why hello Y/N." he gave you a genuine smile.

"Hi master Splinter" you said giving him a weak smile.

"You look stressed out, would you like to have some tea with me in the dojo?"

He asked holding his cane like stick.
"That sounds nice, I could always take a break from my homework, sure."

You said and started walking to the dojo with master splinter.

~skip to you guys drinking the tea~

"So that's how karai mutated? I'm so sorry master Splinter that happened to you, but at least now we know she's half human, the guys will soon find a way to get her back so you can have your daughter again."

You put a hand gently on splinters hand giving him a warm hearted smile, he gave you a warm hearted smile too.
"Thank you Y/N, I am not giving up on hope, I know soon enough I will see my daughter Miwa again. I also encourage you to not give up on hope too Y/N"

you smiled

"I will try not to master Splinter." You said then took another sip of your( favorite tea flavor) tea.

"Were you struggling with your homework?" He asked taking another sip of his tea. "Ya that's why I was so stressed." You replied.

"Why didn't you ask Donatello to help you?" Splinter asked raising his furry eyebrow.

"Oh he was busy talking to April I didn't wanna disturb him." You said taking another sip of your tea. "Oh, Donnie isn't the best at hiding his affections for April, but he has improved. Sadly April has more affections for Casey than Donnie."

"Maybe you will be the one to help Donnie get over April." After he said that he gave you a playful wink, then took a last sip of his tea.
