When someone asked about Hyein, it's means that they want Hanni. When someone needed Hanni, then they asked Hyein.

But if anyone needed a hand to escape from a hellish oxen then that person will be Hyein. First of all, people wondered who Hyein was. The Omega was quite popular among the Betas and Omegas but the Alphas were almost unaware of his presence.

The only thing she knew about her was that Hyein knew Hanni. As long as she had met Hanni, Hyein had always been highlighted and referred to as Hanni's best friend but in truth that was not the relationship between the two.

It was obvious that the two loved each other in a way truly similar to that of two sisters united by birth but the situation was different: Hyein was always second in everything next to Hanni.

They were never on the same pedestal and if she ever had the chance to be there, people would dig a grave under their feet to be on the same level as the other Omega.

It wasn't about Hyein's self-centered personality or Hanni's popularity, because neither of them bragged about it and neither of them knew each other's thoughts, but the people around them made the two seem like rivals that were already predictable. the winner: the winner was Hanni of course.

To understand better, we need to walk a very thin line that goes back to more than six years ago when Hyein's mother met Hanni's mother. Hyein at that time was a brazen Omega full of shame and insecurities, she didn't show even a layer of skin and the only thing she knew how to do was complain to everyone.

Hanni, on the other hand, was the opposite of her: she was lively and very physically exposed and her mother was also proud of her behavior. When she had the chance to meet her, Hyein was in shock.

She didn't expect such a girl in front of her, and she didn't even expect to be able to talk to such a girl. The two were so different at that time that sometimes they couldn't believe that the two could go out together sometimes.

Then one day Hanni got fed up with Hyein's behavior and asked her to change the way she behaved and dressed. A little skeptical of her, Hyein changed her look and waited for the girl to chase her after her having become as she wanted. But the matter was the same as always; Hyein was always treated like the reject and Hanni was the center of the world in the eyes of others.

Hyein was her helper and was no important person either to herself or to her friends, she was just one of Hanni's closest friends and nothing more. When anyone approached her, it was to ask about Hanni.

If anyone approached her with the purpose of talking to her, it was to use the girl to get to know the famous Hanni. Her existence was a means of knowing Hanni. The Omega in question knew well about her position and how she was useless in front of everyone's eyes, but when Hanni looked at her she knew well that the Omega looked at her with a different look than the others as if she were a normal person full of feelings and warmth.

Hanni had always had a different affection towards Hyein than her other friends, but in the eyes of others, Hyein was just an easy intermediary to get to know Hanni.

Sometimes she wondered what would happen if she would no longer be friends with Hanni: she would be left alone with no friends and with no one to ask her how she was doing.

She would only have her classmates asking her for her homework or if the teacher was there for her. She would no longer go out on Saturday nights or she would no longer be invited to any parties.

She had to admit it but Hanni's popularity gave her the ability to do whatever she pleased with her. When she passed through the corridors, even though people recognized her for her friendship with her Omega, the students stared at her with envy and temptation.

Instead, if she would have had a simple friendship with anyone, then she would have walked among the smelly people and the perverse couples in the corridors without even having a bit of space to pass, she would no longer have had her automatic gate when she passed and she would no longer have had her warm place in the canteen next to Hanni's figure.

Being friends with someone like that gave her advantages but at the same time she was protecting your image for the sake of others towards someone more important than you.

Although this misfortune had befallen Hyein, the Omega lived with it because despite her comments and false friendships, she had her dearest friendship with Hanni.

But when someone asked Hanni what Hyein really was to her, Hanni responded with a smile and a shrug, leaving the silence almost open to interpretation at the sight of her.

She honestly didn't want to answer such questions because she knew how much she loved her friend and there was no need for a student who wasn't part of her circle of friends to know about it.

It was like this: Hyein was undoubtedly friendly and popular at school but only thanks to the other Omega's popularity, while Hanni really cared about Hyein but she didn't want to show her true feelings.

It was a rather misunderstood relationship but they had lived like this for more than seven years and people sometimes want to try to ruin relationships that cannot be broken with assumptions or prejudices.
