A car was hurtling at an immense speed between the dark streets of the houses: it was Haerin's.
Danielle's house was far away, it was at least fifteen minutes from Sullyoon's house. She didn't know if she had done a good thing by leaving Sullyoon and her friends, who weren't even supposed to be in her favor, at home with Hanni and Minji who were two animals in heat.
She slapped her forehead as she realized her car had stopped right in front of Danielle's house. She knew she was doing it wrong and she also knew that what she was doing was really embarrassing.
Confessing his own feelings towards Danielle was truly frustrating.
The house was lit up, her relatives must have been with her but it didn't seem like the family car was there. She swallowed nervously before getting out of his car. She put the keys in her pocket, feeling how sweaty the hands were from fear. She ran his hand over his face in a sign of panic, tried to wipe all the sweat off his face but it kept building up under her forehead through her thick hair.
Maybe she's making a mistake, it would have been better for her to get back in the car. No, it was her job to give her heart what it wanted, there was nothing to feel sorry for anyway: her life was already sadly unhappy with few friends and a family that only thought about itself, and this time he had to listen to himself and make raise his self-esteem.
She couldn't spend another night thinking about dying with a pillow over her face. She hated to die like that but it was the only thought that penetrated his mind in the evening other than his unconditionally confused love for Danielle.
She let out a little sigh and as if her head and her heart had separated, her hand reached out to the intercom and rang. There was a noise, perhaps there was someone very close to the door.
It took a few seconds and a woman opened it. She was a fairly mature woman with an older person's aura, but she cared for herself well and seemed like a rather young person apparently from her possible age.
She blinked to see who she was but finally she took the glasses that were hanging from her chest by a string and she placed them on the tip of her nose. She had a very messy hair style with slightly gray strands of hair, mostly styled to bring out her brown scalp.
"Are you a scout? You look too old for that" the woman said raising an eyebrow in confusion. Only then, after smelling the Omega's faint odor, did she realize that the woman must be Danielle's mother.
Even her kind of rather bizarre attitude with her introductions, she looked more and more like Danielle.
“I'm here to see Danielle, I have something to tell her,” Haerin said bravely. The woman sniffed at her and smiled with an angelic face as if she had understood everything.
That smell that emanated made her immediately understand that she was an Alpha, that strong essence had told her that it was better to give her a small smile than say anything else.
"Danielle was about to leave, aren't you the Alpha she was talking about?" the woman asked with a mischievous smile, placing her hands on Haerin's chest as if to give her a playful touch so that Haerin would laugh at her but the girl opened her eyes and her mouth wide as if she had seen a murderer pass in front of her.
"What?" she asked in shock making the woman a little confused. She sounded Haerin a little disconcerted with her question.
"The Alpha she was supposed to go out with tonight, isn't that you?" the woman said, even more shocked by Haerin's expression.
The woman jumped in the air, placing her hands against her lips to hide her excitement, "Don't tell me you're her girlfriend? Is Danielle going out with someone else to make you jealous?" she said while laughing with a lewd, almost provocative attitude.
