Chapter 54

It was not yet dead of night but the din of people from before rushing past into their cars, had passed. 

The neighborhood seemed quieter and the streetlights were brighter than usual.

Hyein stood by one of the windows looking curious while Minji got more snacks for Hanni from the kitchen.

“It must be really scary living here,” Hyein whispered, seeing not even a speck of a shadow. 

Leeseo smiled at Hyein's comment and offered her to sit back down with her hand.

"But you like the house" said Leeseo seeing how Hyein was slow in her movements as her brain was half melted by the beer. 

"Obviously," she replied, nodding his head repeatedly.  Hanni laughed at her friend's comment, taking a handful of chips and starting to eat them, first saying "Is this your secret? You calmed down quickly" Hanni said after filling herself up a bit with the chips.  This time Hyein shook her head in denial, almost staggering. 

She raised her finger towards Leeseo, “I've been waiting for the first secret from you, love,” Hyein whispered.  Leeseo felt a kind of tickle coming out of her heart.

This sort of drunken Hyein was funny although her mind stopped it being dangerous. 

“How about you start?”  Leeseo said leaning his back against the back of the sofa.  Hyein grimaced and shook her head in denial.

"It would be embarrassing.."

"But you created the game. It would be as if I asked to play this game" Leeseo interrupted, blinking her eyes in a recruiting manner.

She wanted to corner Hyein with the two contradictions so that she would leave this thing alone and go to sleep.

  It would only be a matter of minutes before Hyein would feel the heaviness of the beer enter the remnants of his brain as well. 

"But you're my cute and kind girlfriend, right?"  Hyein said praying with her eyes. 

In her heart Hyein didn't feel ready to reveal her secret yet but Leeseo was provoking her more than necessary.

“And aren't you my delicious and sweet girlfriend?”  she asked with a touch of amusement.

Hanni laughed slamming her hands against Minji's chest almost drowning her from the force she put in.

  "Come on Hyein, spit it out" said Haerin bored by the situation. 

Hyein furiously made another face and crossed her arms. 

She closed his eyes and then opened one from Leeseo's direction hoping she was melting with that cute character she was putting on, but Leeseo was filling his glass with the last sip of beer. 

At this point everything she had kept inside came out like an overflowing river.

"I pretended to have an orgasm with you several times," she said, slamming his feet on the ground.  Leeseo opened his eyes wide as she placed the beer back on the table and felt her walls of confidence about sex breaking down relentlessly. 

Haerin fell silent, looking away, trying to find that umbrella stand near the entrance really interesting. 

Danielle slapped her forehead trying to feel something from her head that was less embarrassing than Leeseo was feeling. 

Minji smiled a little sadly, scratching her head and saying "Hyein, stop joking..."

"I pretended at least three times" interrupted Hyein, turning her attention towards Leeseo who now dying to bury herself alive on the ground, tried not to detach  eye contact.
