Chapter 29

It was almost time for the school day to end.  Hanni felt at the point of collapse that she didn't even know whether to keep up with her lessons or leave. 

But she knew well that waiting for the Omega was the Alpha who now also had the possibility of entering school since his suspension punishment was over.

So seeing her was even more common than usual, but Hanni's flashiness was still visible for everyone to see along with her new style that was even bolder than her.  Minji became suspicious, thinking that such a strong reaction was due to their new relationship, which she believed there was, and her desire to show off her physique to others. 

Kim Minji wasn't stupid deep down, she knew well that her Omega did it on purpose to annoy her and make her omniscient of the ability to steal the eyes of others and to desire them even despite her supposed relationship. 

But now the bell had rung and she could already see Minji's smiling face outside the door with her backpack on her shoulder and the keys to the black car rolling between her fingers.

"Damn it," Hanni whispered through gritted teeth as she saw how the Alpha approached her right after class ended.  A pack of Alphas left the classroom to then make room for the Omegas who strangely were still in the classroom perhaps waiting for Minji to notice them.

"Sweetheart, hurry up," Minji said, leaning against the teachers' desk and then blowing a bubble with her chewing gum.  “I want to take you somewhere,” she said immediately after pulling the gum from her mouth and sticking it under her desk. 

The Omegas laughed at the Alpha's action hoping to get her attention but Minji didn't even look at them.  Hanni was amazed: the old Minji would have smiled seductively and asked if they were already engaged, but not this time.  She had truly changed then.

"I'm busy today" said Hanni quickly putting the stuff in her backpack, she didn't care if everything was a mess she preferred not to see Minji's smug face.

"Where do you have to go?"  Minji asked with a tormented smile on her lips as she followed Hanni running out of class.  The Omega ruffled her hair, placing it on her right shoulder.

"Do you want a ride in my car? It's brand new" Minji said swinging her keys in Hanni's face.  The Omega glared at her and then said taking his hands away from her face, "Haerin is taking me, she has to give Hyein a ride too."

  Minji snorted boredly, she really wanted to explode: the only thing she always heard was Haerin, that Alpha of hers made her furious sometimes.

"Give Haerin a rest... I'll take you and Hyein wherever you want today, I'm your private taxi driver" Minji said putting her whole body in front of Hanni making her give up on her offensive comments and telling her that she would accept by warning Haerin.

  Minji smiled victoriously shaking her hands behind Hanni's figure as she continued to tap on the keyboard to find Haerin's number.  Minji had her chance to take Hanni's soul for a while.

  Her lavender scent filled her breath, every time she smelled that scent she understood how much she wanted it just for her.  Minji put her hands in her pockets laughing to herself in search of an answer for her heart which before her had never beaten so strong, intoxicated with a strange honeyed atmosphere.

Her gaze fell on Hanni again as if she had a magnet in her eyes that attracted all the Hanni in the world.  The Omega's body at her distance was so small and tender, she wanted to grab her hips and twist her around to press a kiss to her lips.

She would have liked to do something else, she would have admitted it but things were fine as they were: watching her from afar and wanting, for the moment.

"What?!"  Hyein shouted as she saw Minji's black car in front of them.  The brand new black car taken just two days ago thanks to Minji's father, the famous surgeon and owner of two central and famous hospitals in Seoul, shone in the light as if it were the only thing that did not absorb air.

  Hyein felt sick just thinking about getting into that car with Minji driving.  She was already looking at her from the window with a mocking smile and with sunglasses resting on the tip of his nose to mock her along with her gaze.

  Her hand was outside the car, resting her arm on the rolled down window while with her other hand she made a gesture to get in.

"She insisted," Hanni said as she walked around the front of the car giving a shot of her curvy body to Minji who was looking at her as if she were seeing a model walking down a catwalk.  Hyein opened the door in front of her, stepping behind her, not wanting to see or feel her gaze on her. 

The car reeked of coffee, its aroma and its scent of Alpha had spread in less than a day throughout the machine like magic.

"Where?"  the Alpha asked, putting his sunglasses on properly and pointing his finger towards the road with the intent of trying to seem funny.  Minji hoped to make a good impression in front of the two Omegas, because she honestly didn't even know why she was laughing with that stupid smile on her lips.

Her hands were still on the steering wheel but she wasn't moving even an inch.  Having Hanni near her again made her anxious and excited at the same time that she wanted to lower her seat and Hanni's and kiss her while making love like the old days when the streets were dark and the only things that gave light were the scant streetlights in the square near Hanni's house.

She really hoped that things could go back to how they were before but she knew well that it was difficult like her character, but in the eyes of others it was a joke.  After all, how should people react if all this time Minji had behaved like a bully with no emotions in her soul but only the strong desire to have sex with anyone.

It was right that people thought those things about her but for now she wanted to seem funny and changed in Hanni's eyes even for a single moment, despite her falseness.

  Hyein glared at her and then turned with a huff towards the side of the darkened window.  Hanni sighed realizing that although her journey was short, for her and Hyein it would be quite long. 

Minji's face had something joyful about it: she wanted to appear more active and kind than usual in front of Hyein.  But the Omega knew Minji's double face well that she had always humiliated her with her smiles and commented with contempt when she didn't serve her for her purposes. 

She wanted to be an angel in front of her and Hanni.  But she was just a fake copy, she was a full-fledged Lucifer but she was never for a moment an angel she was born as a devil and she would live as a devil.
