Teenage Love

Chapter 12

Hyein arranged to meet her friends at eight tonight so that she could have everyone come on time as they would be alone at home with a pack of snacks and DVDs. 

Hyein had wanted to do this for a long time and she wanted to talk to everyone to understand the situation that was emerging between Danielle and Haerin but also with Hanni and Minji again. 

She wasn't stupid, she pretended to be stupid but in reality she was the only person who understood better than everyone.  When she invited her other friends too, she expected that they would say no but she reacted very well when they found out that Hanni would be there. 

They wanted to know what was happening with Minji and see if it was possible to get her once and for all.  Hyein invited several people, some of whom she knew while others were friends of her friends. 

She remembered Woongyoung, a girl older than her who had already been with an Alpha for more than two years.  She also remembered Yuna, another Omega with a pompous and spoiled look who however always showed a very strong affection towards her. 

She also remembered Minjeong and how she had sadly broken up with her Alpha because her family was so reluctant to the relationship.  There were many very familiar faces among the twenty people she had invited but the only thing she was interested in now was understanding the situation between Hanni and Minji. 

She walked towards her kitchen seeing Hanni busy getting a glass of water.  Hyein gave her one already filled with fresh water from the fridge.  Hanni raised her eyebrow in confusion not understanding why the girl was looking at her with so much intensity. 

She laughed and took the glass shaking her head, unable to remove from her mind the image of Hyein with that very serious but at the same time confused expression. 

"Do you have something to tell me?"  Hanni asked after a while seeing that the girl didn't stop staring at her.  Hyein didn't expect a question from the girl but she immediately replied as if she already knew her answer, "How's your love life going?"  Normally Hyein almost never asked Hanni about her relationships because she knew what she was like. 

Hanni shrugged and smirked "Waiting for some stupid Alpha to have sex with."  Hyein knew well that deep down this wasn't what Hanni wanted. 

She knew it and if she remembered it well, how many times the girl had expressed the desire to live a quiet and calm life with a loving Alpha who would protect her as a child. 

"Are you sure? Liz told me that she saw you and Minji leaving school" Hyein said knowing this information.  The Omega put the glass down and then placed a hand on his chest dramatically "Oh, you can't understand! That stupid Alpha forced me to go to a coffee shop for a drink" she said shaking her head not being able to believe her own words . 

"I'm not the kind of person who gets forced. And she knows it too well..." she whispered right after her as she removed her hand from her chest and urged herself to continue, "Lest you say what she he told me!"  she continued, slamming her hand on the table. 

Hyein got emotional hearing such things, it had been a long time since Hanni spoke about Minji in that angry way "she insinuated that I had fucked Haerin" she said stopping Hyein's heart for a moment. 

She didn't want Hanni to enter Haerin's life completely, she knew full well that Haerin was destined for Danielle.  "Can you believe it?!"  she said, shaking her head in anger and keeping her hands on the table, flapping them a few times in the silence.

  Hyein could believe it: Minji never cared about what people might think of her, furthermore she had always had the presumption to ask for everything regardless of the situation or her words.  She could bet her head on it. 

Hanni calmed down for a moment, breathing tiredly after confessing her hatred again towards that Alpha of hers to her friend of hers.  "I also don't understand why she haunts me every minute of my day..." she whispered, frustrated by her own voice. 

Hyein fell silent, waiting for the Omega to vent a little more.  Hyein thought rightly.  She wondered if the Omega still had feelings for that Alpha, she knew well that Hanni had been hurt by the breakup of their relationship because she loved the Alpha deeply, but Minji had always been very stupid about this and had never understood the importance of Omega, only in these days was she realizing the emptiness in her heart. 

However, Hanni was also well aware of Minji's toxic personality and she did not want to find herself in the same situation as before.  It was something that went against her love for her, her hatred was perennial there was nothing else to say other than admitting it but also the love she spread within herself when she thought of Minji. 

"Do you feel okay?"  Hyein asked seeing how Hanni was immersed in her thoughts.  Danielle passed by with three bags of snacks that she had brought to help with the food.  She was a little confused as she saw Hanni's thoughtful look. 

"What happen?"  she asked placing the three bags of snacks on the table.  Hanni shrugged her shoulders as he drank her glass of water one more time.  “We were talking about Minji,” Hyein whispered, putting her elbow on the table and smiling at the sight of the three packs of snacks that she considered her absolute favorite. 

"Do you still think about that girl?"  Danielle asked wearily, knowing full well how insistent Hanni was about this story.  “How would you feel if your ex came to torment you every day even though you ended the relationship?”  she asked, raising an eyebrow and keeping her gaze fixed on the Omega waiting for a satisfactory answer. 

“I'd say I'd give him a second chance and then cheat on her to make her feel the same way,” Danielle replied soullessly.  Hanni's eyes widened upon hearing such words, not expecting such a response from the girl who was so innocent in appearance. 

“I'd say it's doable,” Hyein said, commenting with a laugh on her lips.  "Instead of giving certain ideas, I would like to know if you have found a partner" she asked after a while Hanni knowing full well how agitated the Omega was at the mere thought of a relationship. 

“Why are you changing the subject?”  Danielle replied simply.  Hanni glared at her, hating when the girl tried to deflect her questions with even more stupid ones.  Hyein ignored the two for a while finally giving a smile on her lips having two shocked faces from the two Omegas, "What's that smile?"  Danielle asked placing a hand on Hyein's shoulder shaking her. 

"I'm glad you're finding yourselves Alphas," she whispered loud enough for her to hear.  She left the kitchen with wide eyes from Hanni and a red face from Danielle. 

She could still hear Hanni yelling from the kitchen asking her to come and explain her so confident attitude about their current relationship.
