Kang Haerin had spent his entire day at school doing one thing: sleeping.
These days it was normal to be tired in the professors' lessons, especially because their voices sounded boring and almost tormenting enough to make you forget about them with a nap. Haerin almost screamed with joy when the final bell rang, signaling it was time to flee home.
Strangely, all the students were not crowding out of school as usual, but were actually going to the gym with their phones in their hands and cheers on their lips.
Haerin blinked several times, afraid that she was still dreaming inside her classroom, but Hyein passed right in front of her with a bag of snacks in her hands and two friends next to her together with Leeseo who always held them, as if she were a slave , his backpack.
Hyein touched his shoulder and said, "Haerin, are you going to the gym too?" Hyein smiled victoriously as she patted her hand on Haerin's shoulder, "Then you're curious too!" she continued hopping back and forth.
She was pulled by a friend of hers almost telling her to hurry or the so-called show would end, "What's happening?!" Haerin shouted walking through the crowd hoping that Hyein had heard the question, "Rumor say that Minji is going to kill some boys to death!" Hyein shouted in turn, disappearing into the gym carried by her friend and the crazy crowd that loved to see violence.
Haerin stood aside and with an annoyed sigh began to enter the changing rooms of the gym and then exited from the second entrance exit of the gym: the entrance was private but in this confusion no one had noticed that it could be used without any problem .
Almost all the students were on the asphalt of the gym with phones in hand and shouting encouragingly almost as if they were hoping for a massacre in that place.
She glimpsed Danielle between the asphalt, worried at seeing the scene that was before her eyes.
Hanni on the other hand wasn't here, maybe she was on the other side of the asphalt where the junkyards were, she couldn't even turn around and spot her since Haerin was right where the fight was happening.
She was standing aside near the door to the changing rooms with her head under a long plastic canopy.
The people behind her screaming couldn't even see her but she had the feeling that at any moment she would be discovered.
She cast an eye towards the fight and glimpsed the third-year physical education teacher, full of fear and perplexity, standing alone on one side and with his hands in his hair watching the scene as if it were a horror film.
Minji was well known for her immense strength and her outbursts of violence against anyone.
Her father had tried to calm his anger with taekwondo lessons so as to vent all his negativity in fights or performances but Minji took these lessons to strengthen her strength and was capable of killing anyone who had anything to do with her in annoying way.
Right now Minji stood in the center of the gym with her fist-shaped hands bleeding from beating the shit out of a boy, an Alpha.
She was on the ground between the feet of her two other friends who were gushing blood from their noses.
Minji had probably lashed out at the now sore boy but she had easily gotten nervous against the other two always assuming they had meddled.
The boy who was on the ground was Yeonjun, a rather popular Alpha at school for being a torment to the Omegas.
Yeonjun had never been in a serious relationship, he preferred casual sex but he hated being dumped by a pretty girl even though he had plans to do so, if there was anyone who had to ditch anyone it should be him.
'No' was not on his list.
Feeling rejection wasn't in his veins, he was a sort of male Kim Minji but much more selfish and careless about other people's feelings.
"Get up asshole!" Minji screamed, kicking the boy's stomach as her arm made its way towards her lip to wipe the sweat that fell from her forehead and down to her cheeks.
Haerin didn't understand what was going on but the characters were very common to know in this school. She didn't understand what the professor was doing right now, all scared as if he had no authority to beat in this fight, but she could understand the fear he felt.
She would also stand aside if she knew what kind of crazy and evil mind Kim Minji had.
Another thing she didn't understand was where Hanni was, by now she would have relaxed the situation if it was Kim Minji, the Alpha was always very affected by Hanni's words but this time she didn't hear a word.
"Damn get up asshole! Don't make me repeat!" she screamed even louder but the boy didn't even move up an inch.
"You don't have the courage to speak anymore! Open that mouth full of shit, bastard" at her own words her hand went in front of the boy's face, giving him the final blow.
Lying between his friends' legs he was bleeding from the nose and mouth while his stomach felt like it was breaking into pieces as if it had been butchered by a meat grinder.
Minji was still ready to throw a few punches but people were watching her and she didn't want to go into suspension again for more than a week this time.
She could have the excuse that it might be a physical challenge requested by the professor, but it was very unlikely that it could happen.
"Calm down, go clean yourself up. Can't you see the young man can't even speak?" the professor asked in a low voice, seeing the scene it broke his heart watching that poor boy crawl away from Minji.
The Alpha didn't seem happy, only then footsteps were heard from the locker room: it was Hanni, the only salvation for that boy.
"Kim Minji!" that adorable but furious voice showed off within the gym walls.
Minji turned her head to Hanni's side where right next to her was Haerin who with a perplexed look and hands in her pockets was minding her business.
Hanni stomped over to Minji placing his hands on her hips and tilting her head looking dissatisfied, "What the fuck is going on!?" Hanni said, also attracting the attention of the professor who had understood very little of what had happened in her class.
Minji didn't speak, she lowered her hands and put them on her hips, standing composedly in front of Hanni as if she had been caught by her mother after having done a prank.
"Do you want to answer me?" she asked looking annoyed as if what she was doing was precious time.
"Hanni, you don't understand, I..." "In fact, I don't want to hear you! Go away!" Hanni said interrupting her but this time Minji didn't move at the Omega's command.
Hanni raised an eyebrow smugly at his new tendency to disobey her.
"You are always with everyone and make yourself beautiful in everyone's eyes without ever thinking about what I think! After all i got it why you are so rude to me when he is here! Don't think that i am stupid Alpha that you can fool!" Minji replied, pointing her finger at her own chest as if she wanted to be felt for the first time.
Hanni shook her head in denial as if she couldn't believe what she heard, "You're only with me because you don't want to be alone, but in the end I know you're making fun of me like I'm making fun of you every day! Because i am a monster that can't stay still, like you!" Minji concluded without even caring that he had confessed to one of the betrayals she had committed in those few days before Hanni gave her the chance to be together normally.
At that point Hanni blinked several times as if she didn't want to believe it and before the situation became more interesting than it was, Hanni left at a slow pace without caring about the eyes of others.
Even though Minji blamed herself for her statements, she ran after Hanni who felt destroyed by her own feelings after this.
