Terribly ignored, the Omega refused to approach Haerin while that Alpha was around in the group being the little dog who followed his owner Danielle who, unaware of all this, was talking with her friends about clothes or school homework.
The Omega was disappointed that her Alpha hadn't tried with her but had only rejected her out of a love whim towards her Danielle.
The Omega and Danielle weren't friends with her and seeing her here for the first time was bad since she had taken the prey away from her right under her nose.
Although she didn't want to show her displeasure after her rejection, she somehow tried to get Haerin's attention but the girl wasn't even a bit interested in her.
"Have you seen the new clothes they're selling at the newly opened boutique? They're gorgeous!" one of the Omegas shouted getting the attention of everyone in that group.
The first of her to join to go look at the clothes was Hyein who, warmly hugging her friend, convinced her to run up the stairs so they wouldn't miss any good last minute discount opportunities.
Danielle on the other hand was still behind, sometimes she spoke and sometimes she remained silent waiting for Haerin to approach her.
"Do you like shopping or were you forced to come here like every time?" Danielle asked, making her walk slow to end up next to Haerin who had only now realized that the Omega she wanted to have to herself all day had spoken to her.
"Honestly it's a fifty-fifty your question," Haerin said shrugging and reasoning that even though she was forced now she could see her favorite Omega instead of sitting at home wasting time.
"Rightly Hyein is difficult to decline" Danielle whispered with a smile thinking carefully how adorable the Omega was when she asked for a hand in something, she understood well why the Omega had so many Alphas behind her at her service.
"I haven't seen you for several days... What happened to you?" Haerin asked, remembering that the Omega had not been in sight for many days. The fact was that the Alpha had forgotten about her period of obsession with Hanni and her new relationship, but Danielle had always watched her from afar, it was Hearin who couldn't stop thinking about how much danger Hanni was or was not in her new choices.
"I could ask you the same question, you know?" The Omega asked in her turn with a sarcastic tone, making the Alpha snort slightly.
"Do you want a coffee? I don't like shopping" Danielle said pointing to a bar right in front of them. Haerin gladly accepted. Danielle alerted the rest of the group that the two of them would be stopping at the bar for a moment to have a drink.
There was a little confused whisper from some while the rest smiled mischievously at Danielle's comments about her and Haerin being just friends.
"The best thing is a coffee" Danielle said smiling into her cup of hot coffee feeling how her hand got warmer every second as she placed it on the white ceramic cup.
Haerin looked around her noticing that this coffee shop was new, "I have never been in this coffee shop" Haerin said wanting to start the conversation so as not to remain in the awkward silence.
"No! It's still the same. They just renovated it" Danielle said scolding the Alpha for the misinformation she had given. Haerin fell silent, agreeing with the Omega with a resigned expression.
“Haven't you been to this mall for a long time?” Danielle asked, taking a sip of her coffee. In truth it had been a long time since she had been there but the only times she had visited this shopping center it had been with Hanni.
“Hanni was the last person I came with,” Haerin said honestly. She didn't want things to be taken for lies. "You're always with Hanni" Danielle whispered, frustrated by the news that wasn't as shocking as she thought.
Everything that she had to do Haerin was also there Hanni. It didn't bother her as Hanni wasn't interested in Haerin, and the Alpha didn't seem interested in the Omega either, but seeing them together all the time was truly a hateful combination to look at in Danielle's eyes.
She was too jealous seeing them together and knowing that they had done a lot of things together and she couldn't do them for the first time with Haerin like she wanted to do.
"Hanni and I have known each other for a long time, this is normal..." Haerin said upon hearing Danielle's comment.
But in truth Haerin only wanted to have some experiences with Danielle, but how could she tell her without coming off as crazy in love.
Yes, Haerin had to admit it but having Danielle always by his side had made him realize how much she loved her. She wanted to tell her and she wanted to grab her and know if she loved her too. But she might scare her and make the situation more awkward than it already was.
"Then we'll do something new just you and me!" Danielle said confidently, placing her hands on the table and showing her will with a proud smile.
Haerin nodded, wanting to fulfill both Danielle's and his wish. "Be prepared for any eventuality, because I'll call you as soon as I have something in mind," Danielle said, pointing to her head.
Sometimes Haerin didn't quite understand how Danielle's head worked. She sometimes thought that Danielle's head was made up of three hamsters turbo-racing to run on the wheel, while at times she looked like some genius straight out of a detective book.
For now she was the girl who had three hamsters in her head and surely one of those had expired causing a strange idea from Danielle's mouth.
Haerin could only comply and give her brain more guesses about Danielle's true and mysterious mind.
