Chapter 30

Minji placed her hand on Hanni's leg waiting for her to answer her.  Hanni seemed indifferent since she expected such a move from the Alpha after all when they were engaged the Alpha did even more indecent and obscene things than this simple action.

The Omega sighed in frustration as Minji's scent became more and more unbreathable.

"Shuhua's house" Hanni said after a while, closing her phone and putting his hand under her chin, resting her arm on the car door.  Minji had already started the car some time ago and was wandering aimlessly through the streets.

She knew where Shuhua's house was since she had accompanied her to the girl's house several times, but strangely they found themselves going to her house when it came to chatting about Omega things.

So why would Haerin be interested in entering that house: rightly she too was sticking her nose in where she shouldn't but letting Haerin get past her again in this way was bothering her a bit.  Minji turned towards the roundabout letting out a sigh of annoyance as she saw a line of cars in front of her.

  “There's always traffic at this time,” Minji said, taking off her sunglasses and placing them on the dashboard of the car.  It was a good opportunity though, that's what Minji thought.  She could use the traffic as she pleased and investigate what the girls would talk about, so that Minji could be part of the small Omega circle and also enter Shuhua's house without wandering around the streets after her.

  "Do you do a party?"  Minji asked, lying through her teeth as she was quite smart about these things, as she knew well that Hanni had already understood her intention.  “You don't have to answer her, Hyein,” Hanni said, sniffing at her and hearing a small, annoyed laugh from Minji.

The Alpha placed his hand behind Hanni's seat and turned his head towards Hyein who was interested in looking at her phone, "It's not your birthday, right?"  Minji asked again, making Hanni look up at her angrily but the contact was minimal as Minji turned her gaze towards the road seeing how the cars started to move.

Hyein didn't want to talk about these things especially with Minji.  The Alpha had never been nice towards her, in fact she considered her a drag sometimes when they met by chance in the corridors of the school. 

Minji was only interested in Hanni and what Hanni did with others.  Saying something like that to Minji right now would expose her.  However, Yujin is one of the members of the school's rugby team and Minji is the captain of the team through elections for both strength and popularity. 

She might know more than the Omegas, seeing as Minji was an Alpha and she knew what was going through the mind of a teenager with altered hormones. 

"Don't bother her," Hanni said, taking Minji's hand away from her and telling her to keep seeing the road ahead so they don't have an accident.  Being annoying was Minji's pastime as she could suddenly stop asking these things, after all, from the expression Hanni gave her, this meeting must have had a reason behind it.

  "What's wrong with telling me? Is it a secret?"  Minji asked again.  Hanni sighed again tapping on the window angrily at Minji's insistence.  Hyein cleared her throat and said as she walked over to Minji's seat and then placed her hand on Minji's seat.

“We'll talk about love” Hyein whispered without letting Hanni understand her words.  Minji nodded understanding the girl's words.  Kim Minji had no problem talking about love, after all her life revolved around love, more sexual than romantic.

Minji really wanted to talk about these things with Hanni, but the Omega didn't seem interested although one thing flashed in his mind: why was Hanni invited to have such talks?  Did she have to say something about her?  About their new relationship?

  No, Hanni honestly didn't even believe that Minji was her girlfriend again since she still hadn't fully accepted her due to her sudden request and the fact that the Alpha was shamelessly insistent.

Hanni obviously didn't want to give the Alpha the joy of telling her that she was at least thinking about it, but she knew full well that her Alpha believed she was already in a relationship with her. 

Hyein meanwhile wondered why Minji was so interested in such things.  She had never cared to show importance to what the Omegas normally did, perhaps it was because Hanni was inside that meeting and it would explain this nagging tone and her questions about why the two were going to Shuhua's house.

Maybe things weren't always rosy in Minji's head towards the Omegas but when it came to Hanni everything was different. 

"Why?"  Minji said with a smile on her lips but getting a shrug from Hyein.  Minji sighed a little happier than before, also laughing at the girl's childish behavior, "I can help you with love" Minji said after a while, putting on her bright smile, turning to Hanni's side but the latter was looking out the window seeing how they were almost close to Shuhua's house.

  Hyein thought for a while knowing that this help could offer her something more interesting, "Do you know Leeseo?"  Hyein asked.  Hanni suddenly turned towards Hyein with two wide eyes and an absurd desire to throw a plate at his head for having said such a thing to Minji.

  Now the Alpha would show and force everything she knew by puncturing her information with lies, Hanni knew well what Minji was like.

"Yujin's sister! How can I not meet that cute Beta" Minji said as she lightly punched the steering wheel and showed the smile of victory on her face for finally understanding what Hyein meant when she talked about love.  "Ahhh, and I thought she liked Alphas, but do you know how many times I've seen her with Omegas" Minji whispered, still keeping that smile visible. 

Hanni looked at her, glaring in her direction, making her a little scared.  She didn't want Minji to exaggerate with her jokes, Hyein was already upset about talking about these things with an Omega let alone with an Alpha.

  "Do you like Leeseo?"  she asked in a calmer, gentler tone.  Hyein nodded making it visible from the car mirror.  Minji nodded her head, "You're good, she's a nice girl," Minji said a second later.  Even though the Alpha was a total bitch, she didn't want to consume Hyein's love like that.

She couldn't tell her all the flaws of that Beta or say how many times she had gotten into trouble at school and she couldn't even tell her how stupidly and madly in love she was with Hyein even though she had never had the courage to tell her.

Yes, as far as she now understood Minji, the two loved each other but didn't have the courage to make the first move.  This was the bad thing about young people's stories: that they don't know how to give themselves courage.

Minji still remembered that time when she talked to Hanni, she had a listless look as if she didn't really want to impress the Omega but inside her heart she was exploding with excitement.

  After all, Hanni had always been the most popular and beautiful girl in school and asking for a relationship with that Omega was like asking for the sky to kiss you.  Minji stopped after a few minutes, locking the car and the doors with a button near his steering wheel. 

Hanni tried to open her door but it wouldn't open.  Hyein who had seen Minji's gesture waited for the Alpha to speak.

"I'll open if I can come with you" she said after seeing Hanni's glare flash into her eyes.  Anger rose to his face, becoming almost red also from the nervousness that blocked his veins.  He tapped the dashboard with a bully smile on his face as if the girl he was teasing was rebelling in front of her.

Hyein touched her shoulder making her calm down accepting Minji's request.  Hanni looked at her for a while with a shocked expression since over the years the only thing the two had in common when speaking was to give each other gratuitous insults.

There was a click from the steering wheel of the car and a small laugh of victory from Minji who once again had what she wantedago
