A bit agitated at first, he put those rules in place for you to stay safe after all
Doesn't mind having to remind you, if he isn't already ticked off at something else
After it repeatedly happening, one of two things will happen depending on his mood
Either he'll sit down with you and have you write them down in a book if he's having a good day
If he's not, be prepared to be yelled at and lectured for an hour before he cools down
Of course he'll apologize if he yells at you, and after he will have you write them down
Then it's time for a much needed cuddle session in his eyes, whether you want it or not doesn't matter
"Hopefully now you'll understand why those rules are the way they are."

He's a bit confused by why you wouldn't remember the rules
They were there for your protection so he thought they would just become second nature to you
When he isn't busy he'll sit down and ask you why you can't remember them
After talking he'll understand and help you write them down, all the while he explains why each rule is important and must be followed
Once you're done he'll either go and meditate or he'll cuddle with you

He'll share the list of rules with you and have you write it down if you need it
If not he'll print it out from his computer and hang it up somewhere you both agreed on
After he'll go back to work in the lab and let you accompany him
"There, now you won't forget the rules anymore."
