Me and Raph were constantly butting heads with each other. If it wasn't about the fact he had basically kidnapped me and was holding me against my will it was over something stupid. Today was no different, except we were fighting over me wanting to go home. It was the first time I've brought it up for a while which I think just pissed him off more.
"I thought we were over this Y/n. You're not going back up there ever. I'm doing this to protect you, can't you see that?" Raph retorted in an angry tone as he glared daggers at me.
There was something about him being mad that just got me going. "I don't want to stay down here anymore. I miss seeing the sunlight and all my friends." I replied as I looked at him, from where I sat on his bed.
He clenched his fists as he glared at me and I mentally prepared myself to get hit or worse. I was shocked when I wasn't and he just started to breathe to try to calm down. That was one of the conditions I had made with him for me to stay, he had to work on his anger issues.
I just watched him and waited for him to calm down before speaking again. "Are you actually trying to calm down or just trying to make me feel bad?" I asked as I looked at him with narrowed eyes.
Raph just looked at me and nodded. "Yes, I am actually trying. You know I'm not just an angry jerk right?" He responded, sounding almost hurt by what I had said to him.
I was taken back by his response, but I couldn't tell if he was being sincere or not. That was until he got closer to me and looked eyes with me while standing over me. "I hope you're being serious.." Is all I could say before I felt something I hadn't in a while.
His lips were on mine in a kiss that wasn't aggressive or needy like normal, instead it was soft and comforting. A feeling I had grown to not expect from him.
It took a second but I leaned into the kiss. We shared that moment for a while before he pulled away and looked at me. "I really do love you Y/n, I'm just so scared to lose you." Raph finally said as he looked into my eyes.
I was shocked, but not in a bad way. It was a pleasant shock that I had felt. "I love you too Raph.." I finally said as I looked at him and smiled. Just like that I fell right back into his trap, and was even more stuck than I was before.
