I should have just listened to Leo. I was only in the third period and I was already regretting my decision. The only reason he let me leave the lair is to go to school, so I didn't want to stay in the lair despite how sick I was. He tried to convince me to stay in the lair but I didn't listen. Now every period I could feel his eyes burrowing into the back of my head.

We were heading to our last class before lunch with his brothers and April when he pulled me to the side. "You need to go home Y/n. You haven't been feeling good at all today and you've been falling asleep in class." Leo said as he looked at me.

"I'm fine, I'm just tired." I responded as I pulled away from him to continue walking to class. He grabbed my wrist again and looked at me as he pulled me back. He looked serious, and there was a dangerous look in his eye.

"First of all don't walk away from me when I'm talking to you. Second, I'm not asking you to go home Y/n I'm telling you. You should know better than to disobey me by now. Or have you forgotten our deal for you to even be here." He replied through gritted teeth. I knew better not to test his patience so I dropped it.

"Okay fine. I'll talk with the nurse at lunch and go home." I mumbled in defeat. "Now can we go to class?"

He seemed content enough with my response so he let me go and we went to class. Once the lunch bell rang I went to the nurses office and got a pardon to go home. I knew there was no point in running from him, he always finds me when I do. I haven't fully recovered from last time either so I don't want to push his patience.

When I got home I laid in bed and fell asleep hoping to sleep off whatever it is that I had.
