AT THE TRAIN station, Clara embraced Katie in a hug. "Oh, I'm so proud of you!" She exclaimed. "You're going to do good."

Katie smiled at her aunt, and asked, "Thank you, auntie, for taking care of me for a bit. I really do appreciate it."

"Always, Katie. You're always welcome in my home," Clara replied, and then Katie turned, hugging Logan.

He chuckled, hugging her back, and then she pulled away. "If you need anything, we're a call away," He said, patting her head.

"Thanks, Logan," Katie said, and then readjusted her backpack on her shoulders. "Well, guess I should get going, then. I'll call to let you know when I've gotten to my mom's! Love you guys!"

Clara and Logan moved closer to each other, waving at Katie as she disappeared into the train station. Logan looked down at Clara, and asked, "So, what should we do now?"

She looked up at him, smiling. "I already have an idea," She replied.

It had been a week since Logan and Katie had cleaned Clara's balcony for her, and she had hidden away the box she'd brought back with her in the hall closet since then, not telling Katie what was inside, or Logan she had even brought it back.

They arrived at his motel room, and Clara parked her car, and turned to Logan. "I think it's about time you moved out of this motel room," She said.

"And where would I go?" Logan asked, unsure of where this conversation was going.

"You would move in with me, silly," She replied, shaking her head and smiling at him. "I think it would be a good idea."

Logan stared at her for a couple of moments. One part of him had always wished she would just ask him to move in with her. But the other part of him was never sure if she actually would ask. "Of course it's a good idea," He replied, making her chuckle. "I honestly thought you'd never ask."

Clara turned off her car then, and asked, "Why wouldn't I?"

Logan shifted in his seat, trying to come up with an answer that would make sense. "I...Don't know."

She laughed, then, shaking her head. "Logan, for as close as we are...You might as well. We're...Lonely souls drifting together. I think we should stick together."

He looked away, then. Rubbed a hand over his mouth, looking out the window. "What are we?" He asked.

He looked back over again, and she was looking down at her lap, smiling to herself. "We're really good friends," She replied, and then looked up at him, nodding. "Really good friends."

Logan could tell in her voice that she, too, was questioning what they were. "Good," He replied roughly. "Good."

"Now then," Clara said, drumming her hands on the steering wheel. "Let's go get your stuff, yeah?"

It felt...Interesting, walking into Clara's apartment with all of his belongings.

Interesting, because now this was his and Clara's apartment. And he was going to put his things in the dresser drawers, above Clara's things, and...

The thought of seeing his things scattered throughout the apartment sort of...Awoke something in him. A sense of belonging, after being lost for so long.

Clara helped him unpack, putting his toiletry items in the bathroom, next to hers, showing him where to hang his jackets in the closet, and which spots on the shoe rack he could put his boots.
