Arjun did his high school in a nearby school. It was a good one. From his school life, Arjun understood that people can change. At any moment. People are selfish. They choose people who benefit them. Interesting people. Arjun believed he didn't have what it required to be friends with others. So he ignored them.

Arjun spent his first year of high school just like any normal high school student. Or should I say "A Backbencher"? Sit on the last bench and chill. Exams were not to be stressed. This is something Arjun strongly believed. He would sit in front of his books one night before exams and still get good marks. He watches some videos on YouTube and some he tries to understand. This is one of the reasons why students lack sleep. And yes, As time passed his friends at the beginning of his first year found some interesting friends. It resulted in them ignoring Arjun. But Arjun didn't mind. He just wanted to finish his high school as soon as possible and get out of the city. Arjun loves to travel to new places. But God had some different plans for him.

In his second year, there was an exam. So all the students shuffled their places. Not because they wanted to, but because they were told to. Some juniors came and sat in their class beside second-year students. It was a simple exam for almost everyone as its answers were leaked the night before the exam. So all second and first years started to interact with each other.

Strong air burst through the windows Arjun tried to hold his papers down so that they won't fly off. But some of the student's papers flew in the air. And that's when he saw her. A junior. A girl with a long hair. She was wearing a pink kurta with white pajamas. Simple sandals. A black sticker called bindi between her eyebrows. Pink color Jumkas in her ears. All of a sudden everything around him went on silent and blurred except her. He thought she was beautiful and he really liked her long hair. Well, boys have a thing for long hair. She tried to catch a paper, turned around, and looked at Arjun as he was sitting 2 benches behind her. They made eye contact. When things were going on at such a good pace and in a beautiful way, A lecturer barged in and closed all the windows. But that lecturer left after some time, So everyone continued to what they were doing. A junior girl was sitting beside Arjun. Her name is Kavya. He knew her as they came to college on the same path. But he didn't speak to her from the moment the exam started because he was sleeping. But his concentration was on someone else. He wanted to speak to that girl.

"Stop it. You will give her an evil eye if you keep looking at her." - said Kavya to Arjun slowly so that only Arjun could hear her.
Arjun knew lying wouldn't take him anywhere and he trusted her.
"What's her name?" - asked Arjun.
"Do you like her?" - Kavya asked back without a second gap.
They slowly started to talk about other things. Then someone from his front bench said "I don't watch Anime". Now Arjun was a pretty big Anime fan. A weeb. So he looked at where the voice came from and that girl was looking at her. It was her who said that. That girl was looking at Arjun with a question mark on her face.
"He is a really big Anime fan," Kavya said trying to help Arjun. Now that's a good junior. More like a sister.
"Oh, I don't hate Anime. " said The heroine. "I actually like Kdrama more."

A drama girl and an anime boy.
It has a nice ring to it.

Arjun doesn't speak much but he tried his best to speak to her. Then after the exam he never saw her. He decided to forget her as nothing was ever in his favor or luck. But After about 2 weeks a friend request popped up on Arjun's mobile saying "Ayesha_098 follows you."

It was her. The junior. That angel. He thought it was the beginning of his love life.
Jeez, Teenage boys have a serious problem with their expectations and imaginations.

He followed her back and tried to scroll through her posts in the hope of finding her photos to watch her again and again but there weren't any. Then a pop sound.
"Hi, this is Ayesha.
We spoke last week during the exam."

Of course, he remembers. When did he ever forget? Without any shame, Arjun replied right away.
"Yeah, I remember".

And that's how their story began.
How did this story become their love story?
Let's wait a little bit more.
