You kept your balance to the ground as you were pushed back from Mato's powerful blow.

You took your stance once again, and began charging towards him. You feigned an attack to the left, and thrusted to the center. But Mato did his signature move, the Cyclone Slash, hitting you and was sent flying to the air.

You fall onto the floor with your training stick a good distance away from you.

"Another win from Mato."

"No one can get through Mato's signature move, due to it being a defense and offense skill."

"Poor Motty, they should just give up."

You pick up your stick once again, for the.. you don't know how many times. You've been trying to get pass Mato's defense move. You call it defense because he always uses it the second you get close to him.

Shakily standing up, using the training stick as a crutch. You took a stance, hardening your body as you pointed your stick to him.

Again.

"Motty.." Mato said worryingly. He's been trying to convince you to give up this entire time.

He didn't want to hurt his friend, but he couldn't just let you win unfairly. He couldn't decline your challenge either, as it is in the honor of the nail.

It is all in the Honor of The Nail.

He took a stance and prepared himself once again.

*Ring *ring *ring

The second bell for work.

"Alright, disciples. That's the end of our session." The nailsage stood from his pillow seat, where he sat the whole time watching you and Mato spar. "Begin your cool down and let's all go home."

You dropped your training stick, and fell to the ground from exhaustion. You didn't think your body was capable of getting this tired, after getting used with what seemed like 'limitless stamina' for the past few weeks.

"Come on, Motty." Lucius' face popped into your line of sight, "We should do some cool down before your limbs gets stuck in one position." He said as he pulled you up from the floor, and dragged you to join a cool down with the others.

You didn't know anything about bugs, but they have this condition were their limbs get stuck in one position if they overwork themselves. You don't know if it's true or not.

When you got home, you helped Lucius' family set up dinner, as you always do. His mother was preparing for so many mouths, he had over 50 siblings and your friend Lucius happens to be the eldest. You felt obligated to help them, after they let you take shelter in their home for free.

You made yourself comfortable since you've got here, your life in this world was not so different to your life as a human.

You still had to go to school like any children would. Although, the school teaches different topics, it still teaches a skill that is essential to daily life.

This world had a currency and a system much like your human world had. But with obvious differences, it turns out that there's no such thing as orphanage in this world.

But everyone here has a natural instinct to take care of children, so if there was any child to stray away from their parents, it's very likely that they'll be adopted by a different adult.

You were one of those cases.

At first, you felt ashamed of having to depend on Lucius' family so much. Until you found out that most of your classmates in school didn't live with their biological parent. It seemed that adoption was a norm in this world, so you began to embrace your place as part of the family.
