The first thing you see when you awaken was light. Which is a strange contrast from how you woke up the first time.
You stand up and scanned your surroundings.
You were in between two structures, under the shadows casted by the light above you. Unlike the light in the void cave, this one had a reflection. Even though the light casted a shadow, the shadow wasn't completely dark, unlike the darkness of the void.
Maneuvering yourself out of the tight space of two buildings, you stepped out in an area where there is.. People.
You don't know why, but you couldn't see them very clearly. It was bright, too bright.
You were hearing too many sounds at the same time. It was loud, too loud.
You barely even realized that you fell to the ground. Your mind was hurting, you couldn't focus.
Have metal always sounded this loud?
Too many people.
You were pretty sure someone bumped into you, that's why you fell over.
"Ah! My apologies! I didn't mean to-"
Someone's talking, focus on that. If you focus on one person, you hoped it would cancel everything else.
"Are you alright? You seemed to hold a pretty mean crack there."
Yeah, just listen to them. One sound at time, one person at a time.
"I didn't cause it, did I? Let's take you to the clinic!"
You felt arms wrapped around you, and lift you up from the ground. Then you felt a warm wind rush past you, it was unlike the absence of heat in the void.
You need help, you need to know where you are.
You need it.
.
.
.
You came to your senses when you were already tucked in a soft bed.
Bed.. is where you sleep..
What is sleep..?
You sat up from the soft surface, and scanned around your surroundings.
Everything looked weird.. it's as if everything wasn't how it was supposed to be.
Right.. you had two previous lives, two different 'souls'. Now, you're currently a merged version of them.
(If you had a dollar for each time you died and get reincarnated, you'd have 2 dollars. It's not much, but it's funny that it happened twice.)
At least, you don't here the loud.
Suddenly you heard a sharp inhale of breath, almost sounding like a gasp. You turned to the sound, and there you found a person.
He had a porcelain skull, much like the shells of your fallen siblings. But his mask showed more expressions, unlike the empty shells of your fallen siblings.
"You're awake!"
You flinched at the sudden volume, but the person didn't pay mind to it as he ran off.
"I have to tell, Father!" He said giddily, leaving something behind.
You looked at the item, it was a bowl which contained a what looked like a powder.
"It's a blessing to see you well."
Your head snapped to the new sound, a new voice. It was old and gruff, and a looming stature nearly touching the ceiling walls. Despite his hunched back, he still seemed bigger in scale.
