They finished fixing Rody's house, everything looked perfect besides the few old looking furniture like the couch. Vincent felt very proud and happy to be able to do something like this for Rody, though he didn't understand why he cared so much about it in the beginning but he felt a soft of accomplishment from this. He stood in the middle of the living room with Rody, turning to him. "All finished, doesn't this look better?"

Rody, on the other hand, felt like a nervous wreck. He felt guilty that Vincent spent so much money and time on Rody, it was already the afternoon and Vincent started at 7 A.M. Rody nodded to Vincent's question, smiling widely and nervously. "Yeah!" He did not hide his nervousness well, Vincent could tell right away.

Vincent ignored Rody's nervousness, turning to Rody with a small smile. It was only slight but it still made Rody smile back. "It looks so much more better, I think we did a great job on picking everything up!"

More like you did a great job, Rody thought as he nodded to Vincent's words. "Yeah!" He put his arms down from being crossed then put one hand on Vincent's shoulder.

Vincent smiled a bit more, turning his head away to look at the apartment. He was a bit Thrown off by the sudden touch but he didn't do or say anything about it. "Now that your apartments cleaned up and looking new, what do you want to do for the rest of the day?" Vincent looked back at Rody, putting one hand on his own waist.

Rody moved his hand away and sighed quietly, smiling more as Vincent did. He liked seeing Vincent smile, it wasn't as rare as he thought it would be but it was still like a treat every time. Wait, what? What kind of thought is that?! Rodys not gay, he's just... appreciating Vincent as a friend (Stage 1: Denial)! He shook himself of his thoughts as Vincent spoke up. "Oh, uhm..." He hadn't thought of what he would do once they finished. It was 5 P.M. so he thought Vincent would want to relax. "Don't you want to go home? It's close to getting late and we- you've done a lot today." He stated as he furrowed his eyebrows. "Don't you want to go relax?"

Vincent noticed how lost in thought Rody seemed for a moment, his smile faltering but it didn't mean he wasn't happy. He just didn't smile that much, didn't show his emotions that much as a normal person would or as much as Rody does which seems more than the average person in Vincent's opinion. He chuckled at Rody's response. "I guess I could go home but it's also the weekend, no work tomorrow, and I don't have anything planned for tonight." He crossed his arms.

Rody smiled nervously, again. "Oh, right!" He laughed and moved a hand to rub the back of his neck. "I just didn't think you'd wanna hang out and you'd want to relax." He shrugged as he looked around. It barely looked like his apartment from the beginning which is definitely a good thing.

"Why don't we get some drinks?" Vincent spoke up after a moment. He raised an eyebrow and shifted his stance.

"I have a few beers in my fridge-" he looked over to his fridge. He didn't think Vincent would accept since Vincent is probably use to the expensive liquor and Rody only buys cheap stuff since that's all he can afford.

"Hm..." Vincent had to think about it for a moment. "Sure, that sounds fine." Yes, usually Vincent wouldn't drink cheap liquor but it wouldn't hurt him, save him a trip to get them drinks anyway. Plus, Vincent hasn't drank beer in a while. Usually he goes for wine but Rody didn't seem to have any if Rody was suggesting wine so...
