It's been a week since Vincent confessed his feelings to Rody, who seemed to be avoiding Vincent at all cost. Even though they have to see each other every weekday because of work, Rody still seems to manage without talking or even looking at Vincent. Vincent was slightly hurt by this if he was honest with himself. He let his feelings be known and suddenly Rody shuts him out. This was the first time in a while that he admitted something like that to someone.

He was currently in his office, looking at some papers that were on his desk. He had a cold expression like he used to have. He wasn't going to let something/someone like Rody get in the way of his life, his business. He sighed as he thought about it. Damnit. Why did he care so much? He's never cared about someone's opinions like this in a long time. It was confusing him and hurting him more than he'd like to admit.

It was after hours of the restaurant, Rody was getting ready to leave when he stopped right outside Vincent's office. The door was slightly cracked so he peaked in a little. Vincent seemed very stressed this past week, which Rody couldn't tell if it was from the restaurant or from him. He felt bad but he was just trying to figure everything out. Honestly, he did think he likes Vincent but, if he did, they could get in trouble if they ever got caught so it scared him away from the idea. Yet, he really wants Vincent at the same time so why should it matter? He sighed quietly and furrowed his eyebrows. He bit his lower lip and turned his head away as he thought more about it.

Vincent sat back in his office chair and ran a hand through his hair. He closed his eyes and leaned his head back over the chair, crossing his arms. Sometimes he wished he didn't have feeling instead of taste. That his feelings could disappear, even if he didn't get his taste back with it. He just wished something would go his way, selfish he knows but he wants Rody. The one thing he's wanted in a while that wasn't involved with his restaurant, Rody of all things was what he wanted.

Rody couldn't stand looking at Vincent like that, he looked so hurt and stressed despite trying to hide it. It was obvious, at least to Rody. He pushed the door open gently and stood in the doorway. "Vincent?" He raised an eyebrow, speaking softly.

Vincent quickly sat up and opened his eyes when hearing the door open, sitting properly now and looking towards the door. To his surprise, "Rody?" He sat up more and leaned against his desk while in the chair still. "What do you want?" He cleared his throat, trying not to come off as surprised though he was. "Is something wrong?"

Rody stood there for a moment, silent and trying to find the words. "I..." He struggled for a bit until he let out a shaky sigh. "I have something to tell you," he paused. "about the confession."
