Rody had one arm under Vincent's and around Vincent's shoulder as he slowly helped Vincent, who was a stumbling mess, up the stairs. He had a soft smile and adored this moment. It was nice Rody could see a more vulnerable side of Vincent. They got up the stairs, Vincent almost dropping his keys before handing them to Rody, then got into the apartment. Rody has never seen such a nice apartment before, his eyes filled with amazement as he looked around from the entryway. He quickly snapped out of it though as he needed to get Vincent to bed. He started walking towards where he hoped the bedroom would be, he didn't know the layout of the apartment. He made sure to walk slow and carefully with Vincent in his arms.
Vincent stumbled, barely able to just plainly walk without Rody holding him up, he did drink too much for himself. Yet he only had about three or four drinks, he couldn't remember at this point. His mind feeling fuzzy. "You know, Rody," He started, his voice slurring. "I reallyyy like you" He exaggerated the y in really. He giggled.
It was clear to Rody that the wine has gotten to Vincent's head. He opened the door to... the bathroom. Oops. He chuckled to himself then shut the door. He smiled widely at Vincent's comment. "I reallyyy like you too, Vince." He walked to the other door. He opened it then walked in, over to the bed. "But you should rest." Vincent's little giggle was adorable. It made his smile widen.
Vincent lifted his head and saw his bedroom. He groaned. "I don't wanna sleep." He said before Rody even said it, knowing that's what Rody wants him to do. He didn't feel like sleeping, he rather- "I wanna hang out with youuu" He giggled again as Rody sat Vincent down on the edge of the bed.
Rody sighed and set Vincent down on the bed. "Rest is good for you right now." He stated as he stood up and moved a hand to rest of Vincent's shoulder. "I can stay here until you fall asleep, okay?" He wanted to compromise and make sure Vincent actually goes to sleep. Vincent definitely needed to sleep this off and hopefully won't have such a bad hangover in the morning.
Vincent's expression changed to a pout as Rody kept talking about how sleep was good for this moment but quickly smiled when Rody said he'd stay until Vincent fell asleep. He quickly grabbed Rody's sleeve, pulling Rody down onto the bed beside him. He was clearly excited by that statement.
"Oh!" Rody exclaimed while being pulled down onto the bed, not expecting it one bit. He sat up once Vincent let go of his sleeve, he landed on his side originally but adjusted himself to sit up next to Vincent. "Alright, let's get you under the covers." He stopped when Vincent grabbed his chin.
Vincent smiled and giggled as Rody adjusted himself, not thinking straight at all. Literally, all his thoughts were taken over by Rody. He leaned forward and gently grabbed Rody's chin. He grinned. "You're so handsome, Rody." He leaned more forward, their faces inches apart.
Rody blushed from being grabbed like that then Vincent leaning in that close. He laughed nervously and put a hand over Vincent's wrist. "Thank you-" He got cut off by Vincent's lips pressing into his. His eyebrows raised and he suddenly pulled back.
Vincent had closed his eyes as he leaned in and pressed his lips against Rody's. He chuckled against Rody's lips then felt Rody pulling away, making him sit up since he was almost fully leaning into Rody. "Aww...come on, one kiss doesn't hurt." He pouted as he frowned.
Rody stared at Vincent, trying to process the fact that his boss kissed him. Yet, Vincent was drunk so that's probably why he did it. But, what was Vincent's drunken mindset if he did that? Rody was so confused then snapped out of thought when Vincent spoke. He sighed. "It does when one is drunk." He stated as he stood up.
Vincent frowned more when Rody said that, his eyes widening when Rody stood up. He quickly grabbed Rody's hand. "Don't leave me." He whispered as he furrowed his eyebrows. "I'm sorry for kissing you but don't leave me." He looked up at Rody.
Rody looked back and down at Vincent when his hand was grabbed, furrowing his eyebrows again. He didn't know if staying was a good idea if Vincent was trying to do stuff like kissing. He didn't want to be blamed if something happened and it seem like Rody took advantage of Vincent's state or getting fired for letting something happen. He stared as he was trying to decide whether to stay or not.
Vincent tugged at Rody's hand, trying to pull Rody back down to the bed but Rody had a strong stance. He stood up then, not wanting to be far from Rody. Even if it wasn't that far to begin with. "Please..." His voice still a whisper as he moved his hand from Rodys to Rodys cheek. "I won't kiss or do anything like that, just stay with me! That's all I ask..." He stepped forward, bringing himself closer to Rody and setting his other hand on Rodys shoulder.
Rody looked at Vincent's body as Vincent got up and got close. That made him more nervous than before. Vincent was saying he wouldn't but his actions showed other things. He sighed. Vincent was being vulnerable and needy in the moment which he adored and made him want to stay. He groaned in annoyance as he pulled his head away from Vincent's hand. "Fine, I'll stay, but you at least need to try and sleep."
