Narrator

So I suppose you've heard the story about Thomas the tank engine, haven't you? If you did, then this story is a classic. There was always one solid way of telling the story, but we gather here today to listen to a reimagined take on the story of Thomas. Thomas is a 6 wheeled tank engine who is currently employed on the LBSC as a push pull engine. He is in-charge of a push-pull duty, but his plans are soon going to change, as he is eventually sent to work on a new set of railway grounds.

 -Mid Afternoon-

The film opens to Thomas pulling into a station on the LBSC railway for his push-pull service with a MK1 brake coach. He is also pulling some flatbeds and vans for his goods duties. He stops to unload his passengers.

Thomas

whistles

His manager runs up to see him.

The manager

Hello, Thomas! I've got some news for you.

Thomas

What is it?

The manager

You're going to work on a new railway.

Thomas

New railway? Why?

The manager

You see... the manager of this railway asked for an E2 to run a shuttle service to a harbor on his railway.

Thomas

Why does he need an engine like me to do such a job?

The manager

All of his other engines are already caught up with enough work. So he needs a new one.

Thomas

Yes, sir.

Thomas is uncoupled from his coach, puffs out of the station, leaves the railway, and goes to Sodor.
