Thomas is having his fire lit as he wakes up for the day. All the other engines are waking up as well.
Thomas
yawns Is it morning already?
Thomas' driver
Yes, it is, Thomas. We've got some more duties to do today.
Thomas
yawns
Thomas puffs out of his berth at Tidmouth sheds. Suddenly, he is stopped by Gordon.
Gordon
yawns Thomas, can you bring me to platform 1? The express is due in 30 minutes and I want to be there early.
Thomas
Pull yourself to platform 1!
Gordon
I'd rather not...
Thomas
Fine.
Thomas turns to Gordon's berth and pulls him out of the shed and to platform 1.
Thomas
I can't believe I have to move an engine to the platform!
Thomas feels like he got bossed around. He is uncoupled from Gordon and goes to the station yard to grab his coaches for his first passenger run.
-Morning-
When he couples up to his coaches, he is stopped by Sir Topham Hatt.
Sir Topham
Good morning, Thomas! I need you to take a train of vans from the harbor to Wellsworth station.
Thomas
But don't I have a passenger train to take?
Sir Topham
Jinty will look after the first run today. Be quick now.
Thomas
I guess.
Thomas whistles and puffs away to find his vans at the harbor. When he comes to the vans and gets coupled up, he immediately smells the stinky smell of the fish in the vans.
Thomas
Oh my... What is that awful smell?
Pug puffs up beside him.
Pug
Hello, Thomas! That's the smell of fish!
